Never in my 27 years of life have I ever seen anybody put hot candle wax on a person's face 😶. Give Judy an Emmy cause she goes through hell to provide great content
I've never seen that either, however, it makes "sense" (I'm not saying is right to do it tho) if you want to "smooth" The skin, however you can use primer hahha I guess back in the day when we used to use hairspray as setting spray there were some ppl using candle wax as smoothing primer before existed
As someone who owns a small candle business, yes, 100% soy wax candle, preferably with a mixture of coconut butter, can be used as a moisturizer, but NEVER use it on your face. it is great for your hands, feet, etc, but it is definitely too harsh for the face. Also, the ones that are coloured are usually candles that have some porcentaje of parafine in them, and that's definitely a big no no for the skin
@@angelmamma8635 Well I can't really say much since you can't really see it very well, but what I can say is that pure soy wax candles with butters, such as coconut butter, are a lot more expensive than regular parafine candles and judging by the place and all of the other tools and products they used, I really doubt they are investing much on high quality skin safe candles... The candles I make are pure soy wax + coconut butter, and even I don't market them as a product for the skin, because cosmetic products should go through thorough testings before they can be labeled as skin safe... let alone safe for the face
I wish you would challenge them sometimes and say smth like.. do you think that this foundation matches my skin colour? I would love to hear the excuses.😂
the excuse is that there isnt many pale clients and with cheap places like this its just not worth for them to get it, and many tìmes the owners just dont allow them to
they always say she is too pale and wants her to look darker. Where she lives pale skin is ugly and they always berate her for her beautiful skin and make her look yellow
@@aspenisthebest And they say racism is only possible towards POC. It's so, so, so not true.. being paler than Judy I always hated my skin color because of other peoples judgement.
@@WildVee you are just ignorant and don’t understand what racism is and it actually undermines the severity of the issue. racism is not when white people make fun of another white person for being pale. Lmaoo that person is just being a bully and it doesn’t make you some victim of racism 😂
These types of candles are usually made of some types of oils and when dissolved, they are used for massage or as a lotion. However, they are not intended for the face - the product is too greasy and may cause rashes / clogging of pores etc. 😔
I was about to comment that I have some body oil that comes as a candle, it feels really nice because it’s sooo warm. But I wouldn’t imagine ever putting it on my face!
One would think that at a salon you would get professional treatment, with actual approved and safe products. I get that wax is good for moisturising and the oils too, but the pore clogging, potential allergies and the fact that this candle has been sitting around collecting dust for God knows how long...
Like she said in the video, using a hot spoon to curl your lashes is actually an old technique but I feel like we have really good eyelash curlers now, you can even get lash curls that heat up to an eyelash safe temperatures that work good
Definitely would have asked the owner to stop interfering. Definitely a "Hey she is doing a really good job and I would really like if she did my makeup". Judy is a trooper.
I get what you're saying, but that shouldn't be an issue. No means no, she's a customer so they shouldn't push just because she is being friendly, it's part of her wonderful character
I would be absolutely LIVID if someone tried to put candle wax on my face. I’m allergic to so much and they didn’t even hesitate or ask you if you were. Don’t even get me started on the fear behind a HOT SPOON being close to my eyes. Absolutely not.
I was a bit older than most kids who watched it were and I was still traumatized. My fiancé hasn’t seen it yet so I know what’s on my Halloween bucket list next year 😂
Coralline didn’t faze me. Bloody Mary did. I was exposed at an early age to gore from the neighborhood boys so…nightmares for years and years and a anxiety disorder from it that causes insomnia. Other spiritual attacks fall upon me but I won’t go into it. Let’s just say coralline is kidspop to me! Horror movies are sick and for sick minds.
You are so much more patient and kind than me. There’s no way I would’ve let that woman put candle wax on my face like that! Wow! And I can’t believe your poor lips were so swollen! I’m glad it’s nothing serious. Be careful, my sweet Judy!💕
Love your videos! Video idea: could you go to a worst reviewed makeup artist with a picture of a look and let them recreate it. Then give a picture of that worst reviewed look to a good mua (lucas for example) and make them attempt to make the look they think the bad mua was going for. I think it would be really interesting to see how close they can get to the original photo!
There's a Mexican MUA that does something like that in some of her recent videos including some Judy D's videos. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jUFnMDo0VBc.html
Hey Judy not trying to scare you but please go get yourself tested for HSV after having that break out. I’m not saying that you definitely have it but as someone who is a nurse and sees this daily it could’ve been an allergic reaction but please get yourself tested to verify. I love you and your videos!!!
Can we just appreciate how Judy smiles throughout all the horrible makeup artists she's been too, besides the fact that some of them literally disfigure her fave through makeup
I am so disturbed by the lack of knowledge, sanitation, quality products, and professionalism in these videos. I am a professional bridal makeup artist, and this is so insane to me that people can do this.
And in salons!? If i EVER did makeup that bad on a bride or anyone related I would never work again. And I am so careful with my sanitation, products, skills etc. I cannot fathom how people take someones money after making them look like a clown.
That make no sense, that thing has nothing to do. They all are just bad makeup artist, the professional ones, really learn how to match all kind of skin shades. It's true, that actually the hard ones to match are the most deep skin tones, but a really good makeup artist could make it easily.
@@delusionalidentity9110 Most likely they don't have many foundations colours since most of the people tend to have similar skin tones. I grew up in Mexico btw and this was always my problem
Yeppp, I live in the Mediterranean and people are very tan here, but I'm pasty white and let me tell you, the amount of 'advice' and recommendations I've been given by some 'pro' MUAs is horrific. Like no, a dark hot pink highly pigmented blush and warm dark reddish countour will not work for me, I'm afraid 😅
I live in central mexico with pale skin and sometimes have problems finding a match for my skin, currently using a paler tone because its the one that i always found and its easier to put bronzer here and there to make it look good than using a darker one.
the mua is still clearly just started and yet learning, but she has potensial. Makeup is not half bad. That owner just ruin everything for her with her shty advices :D
No no no no sorry but you must suck at makeup if that's your opinion, this is horrid. The dirty sponge, the way they rubbed her face with are hands no awareness of the right etiquette etc.
I know a bit about candles for that purpose, so here’s some fun facts: If she were doing this to someone in that way, she’d absolutely be blasted by the entire BDSM community for this. This was absolutely dangerous, and improper for that setting. There are specific candles you must use for wax play, and certain ways you must melt the was as to not burn the submissive. You cannot put it anywhere on the face, or sensitive areas. Only on open skin, like thighs, buttcheeks, stomach, etc. facial, nipple, and groin areas are absolutely not allowed, and can harm people. Especially if you aren’t prepping the areas you’re going to put the wax. Not to mention, there was no informed consent!! This would be considered an assault since there was no consent given for this! Scenes cannot be on the fly without a submissive’s consent to what will happen to them, you MUST tell them what you’re doing clearly, and wait for a yes or no.
I'm 44, I used to be an MUA and until a back injury stopped me being able to do it, I did my makeup very regularly, kept up on all the latest products and techniques. I have NEVER heard of using candle wax in someone's face! WTAF???
WOW. If I saw someone heat up a spoon over a candle or melted candle wax and walked towards me not explaining what they were doing.....I would freak out. You're a trooper Judy.
As a licensed professional aesthetician and make up artist this is so hard to watch probably one of the worst ones I’ve watched out of all your videos!!!
At least her heating the spoon was killing any bacteria on it. Also I feel the eyes looked nice before the darker shade. They just needed to be blended. You should try giving the actual MUA another chance since she seemed to be trying.
Judy my BF got HERPES on her mouth after her freind borrowed her lipstick. PLEASE Be careful. Your health isn't worth it. As amazing as your videos are and as much as we appreciate your dedication, please take your own lipstick with u💕
Lol girl how you have the spirit to keep making these videos amazes me. You have some serious inner strength to set yourself up for pain and disappointment for this channel. 👏 👏 👏 Wishing you happiness and pleasant experiences ✌
Judy you should try makeup removing balm or oil. It takes off all the makeup and you can wipe it off with a towel or makeup wipe in the car. I worry about all that gross makeup residue on your skin. Much love 💕
What's odd is the MUA has potential with training but the owner is a hot mess. The owner is literally telling her to do everything wrong and she's so rude about it too. She's ignorant but loaded in audacity.
The anxiety I get everyone I watch your videos. Not all hero’s wear capes. Thanks for sitting there for us. I would run away for he second they did something I was hating.
I don’t think anything can look worse than the last video😳🤣🤦🏽♀️ You Judy D are STUNNING😍😍😍 The 💩 these “makeup artists” be doing to you is 🍋UNACCEPTABLEEEEE🍋
Love the sound effects when they’re tugging and hauling at your face but the candle wax and heated spoon on eyelids was like something from a horror movie lol 😂
JUDY!!!!! GIRLLLL NO!!!! Don't let anyone ever put candle wax on your face! Especially not a scented glade like candle. They're toxic. The kind of wax they should use is specific and unscented
I swear, I watched all your videos and always looking forward to it every single day. I hope you upload everyweek huhu this make my day so relaxiiiing after a long of work
Honestly why do they all want to do a full blown nighttime smoky eye red lip 'going out to a dark club' look on poor Judy :'( They really said, "Fresh, dewy, beautiful and understated? Never met her."
legends says that Judy still has the towel on her head to this day (no but seriously, she already had her hair up, why did they insist on putting that thing on her head??)
12:47 they're using a toothpick to separate her eyelashes after mascara?? Seriously? Not only is that dangerous because an eye could get poked out, it's cheap and ridiculous. An eyelash comb works just fine. Yikes!
Sometimes I use a toothpick/tapered nail tool or the side of my tweezers in between my lashes to (very carefully) separate them one by one. They're really sparse, so if they stick together jt looks like I have a grand total of 4 eyelashes lolol. A brush or spoolie just won't do the trick bc it ends up dragging the rest of the mascara off in the process. That said, I would NEVER in a million years let someone else use this 'technique' on me and get that close to my eye w a sharp object :/
The owner was treating you like a kid!! And eew the allergic reaction would of freaked me out!! Knowing that candle 🕯️ wax was all over my skin. When she put the spoon over the candle I was like ummm what are we fixing to see 🙈 LoL
You must be SO SICK of salons trying to pluck your eyebrows. And then for the owner to say make them big… surely leaving them unplucked would work better/more natural for that look 🤔
If the owner has to tell the "MUA" what to do then she has no business doing makeup. I went to Cosmetology school (so did my daughter) and they only taught us makeup for 1 day. Just 1 day. So, I personally don't think that a licensed cosmetologist is even qualified to do makeup in a salon. They'd be better hiring a professional or even someone that knows more about makeup
From other comments it appears to just be oil in candle form. Apparently you can get skincare like that. The stuff on her hand is clearly NOT candle wax. Candle wax would have dried by that point, it looked like oil.
there are actually candles that are made of wax intended to be used for different kinds body massages, when i did my qualification we learned how to do hand massage this way! but you wouldn’t use this on the face, ever! it could clog your pores or cause a reaction (erythema etc)
Hey Judy! Love your videos. I sit and watch them with my 8 year old niece, Kaylee, and she loves how you use the Roblox noises. Your videos make us both laugh and get grossed out too. You’re awesome. Kaylee would love to play Roblox with you one day. 😘😘💕💕💕
Interesting. You can read the brand name on the lipstick (?) they used. It is Seytú, an MLM. Also, I couldn't find the product they used in Judy's lips, so let's hope it was discontinued due to the bad reaction.
