I wish the delay is shortened. You can easily move out of range of this build and you can't easily initiate fight, for me at least. I'll stick with HiHorse+Crash for mamo

Start using ambush tactics more. While it doesn't fix the fact that this build has less chasing power than Horse/Crash, stuff like waiting in bushes and letting enemies find you does solve a fair amount of its other problems. My favorite way to play the build is with RFS and 3 red, to ensure you can keep them frozen

Agreed. They did a similar rework to Trevenants Wood Hammer back in the day. It used to be a very slow move to activate, but they sped it up because rod how bad it was. I can see them giving Earthquake the similar treatment

@@Druid-T I also use rfs and speed emblem. Maybe because I'm not much of a damage dealer but I prefer horse+crash for assist.

Every single person whining about the earthquake delay is playing the WRONG MOVESET Earthquake is meant to be played with icicle crash Hit icicle crash first and you will NEVER miss an earthquake and it isn’t slow at all

Ice fang earthquake is my favorite defender build. You can eat the enemy team for dessert, make ice cream cones out of them one by one.

Earthquake is good for jumping on ranged Pokémon or when fighting enemies who are too busy or have low mobility Ice fang is good for fighting against close quarters brawlers or getting a jump on a enemy Icicle crash is good for Pokémon who are sunned or have low mobility it pairs well with earthquake High horsepower is good for chasing down enemies and grant some sort of mobility as well as being able to help steal I usually go ice fang + high horsepower for long range Pokémon and icicle + earthquake for brawlers

About 1 year ago, I remember playing with 2 random friends and I was carrying mamo with focus, cookie and weights. My team let me cook and I got like 20 kills with Ice Fang and Earthquake. I can't find the game but I'll try to find it

mamo's only downside is his leveling, i mean piloswine is good enough but for objectives i'd prefer already evolving to mamoswine which is pretty much impossible with exp share Also for full tank build I prefer the earthquake icicle more because people just dont engage at you knowing you're bulky

Mamoswine with ice fang is an absolutely bully, I might be a little sadistic but its such a good feeling picking someone up and throwing them back to your teammates while they try and run away lol

I absolutely love Mamo, sadly whenever I play it, my team focusses on feeding and never farms. The other day I literally had a full squishy team with 3 attackers and 1 speedster and 4 minutes into the game none of them had evolved even once 🥲 only one jungle rotation the entire game too. I hate having to be the one farming when I play Mamo so games like this make me avoid defenders for a while

icicle crash is too good not to use imo, u can block off the enemy team from running away or towards u, it stuns, does good dmg etc

All those support items on mamo gives me second hand anxiety. If your team is not bout it bout it you will be level 7 at 2:00 mins. Good thing you had fighters on your team

Hot take miradon not that op sure it’s STRONG but some Pokemon currently can out damage it and just as annoying to play into. I seen so many miradons explode from all the dps and cc in this game

Earthquake isn’t slow and needs no buffs. It’s supposed to be used with icicle crash where it’s speed lines up perfectly after icicle crash lands on enemies No one plays icicle crash earthquake despite it being an intended moveset, and the best moveset One day people will realise

For pure Tank: Exp Share, Buddy Barrier, Resonant Guard For Bruise Tank: same as above but change Buddy with Weakness or Weight For All Rounder: Double stacking build with Weakness

The problem Mamo has is survivability, Trevenant has strong CC and also regeneration but Mamo only has one, Blastoise can dish out damage easily also beinf a ranged makes it harder to kill than Mamo which needs to get close to kill, then Crustle which got Sturdy buffed few seasons ago makes it harder to kill as well with up to 70% of bonus special and defense, when Mamo needs attack stats so Thick Fat could work, but moat builds of Mamo doesnt even use attack items. Rest of Defenders can heal Umbreon and Lapras with basic attack, Slowbro with Amnesia, Goodra with DPulse and Muddy Water could give the more defense than Mamo, Snorlax with unite, and Greedent with it's ability also Covet and Stuff Cheeks also Unite while also able to escape with Covet. In conclusion if being compared to other defenders in the game Mamo has the weakest kit of all Defenders
