Fine and you too! I always really appreciate how you put your tunes together. The chords always go with the notes which isn't the case usually; close as in horse shoes and hand grenades. But your are always spot on. Thanks!
My unborn son ADORES your music. I tried everything and yours is the only one he reacts to. God bless you, your household and increase your talent abundantly. You've brought so much joy into our home. Thank you!
Dear Walter, what an elegant, masterful guitar playing! It is pure pleasure to listen to your playing skills and to watch you. Everything looks so easy, but the opposite is the case. Perfect interpretation! Thank you, Walter, for this wonderful musical enjoyment! All the best Wolfgang
Impeccable technique and musicality! I appreciate that Walter leaves "white space" where needed... avoiding the excess busyness of so many other guitarists.
Beautiful -- love this tune, great arrangement and wonderful playing. Chord choices are amazing, and your sound is always sublime. Thank you Walter, hope all is well! 👏🏼🎶
I have four brothers who have been playing the guitar for many years. I'm a big fan but I could never make progress with the instrument. But, it's my favorite instrument when played well and this rendition of the Leon Russel tune is just splendid. WOW! Thanks for posting!!
The progression of chords was beautiful and complex at times. The execution was smooth and meaningful. I listened with great interest to it from the beginning to the end.
I love playing guitar, but have never seen anyone “enjoy” it more than you, Walter. The smiles on your face tell the story! The joy goes right to your heart and soul. And, your playing is stunningly beautiful!
Hey Walter, I am very happy hearing you render this tune. Brings me lots of memories thru my career years of performing. I appreciate the techniques you use. Great, just great!!! Cheers.
So beautiful, so elegant. I follow along for a while and say, "I can do that!" And then comes a slapped artificial armonic or giant stretch and I say, "I can't do that!" Beyond the technical virtuosity is lyricism and phrasing that can only come from a consummate artist. Thanks so much, from all of us, Walter. If you make a TAB, I'll be the first buyer. Su servidor, Rob.
I wasn't ready for that change at 2:15, this is just beautiful, the composition is so creative and you just play it so perfectly. Lots of love from Switzerland!
Gracias por tú música tan elaborada en estos días.., Es uno de mis temas favoritos. Casualidad de que " Masquerade" es lo que llevamos todos por la calle😷 en Barcelona y en el mundo entero. Parabens Maestro
Deser Walter, Your version of Masquerade is absolutely marvelous. For a very long time I was listening George Benson's singing finding IT as a masterpiece of voice recording. For me yours version is a top of guitar masterpieces. Thanks a lot, and be carefull to stay healthy.
@@walterfingerstyle Sorry Walter for this DESER, it should be DEAR, but sometimes my phone knows better what I want to write and it is very difficult to "catch" the moment the stupid thing tries to be more clever than me. Great thanks for the MASQUERADE again. You had put a lot of feeling to this interpretation and a lot of deep understanding of this song. It's so nice to listen yor play.
Very nice😎 Russell attended Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, alongside Anita Bryant, who was two years older, and in the same 1959 class as pop musician David Gates. Russell and Gates played and recorded together as the Fencemen.[17] Also attending Will Rogers at that time was guitarist and singer-songwriter Elvin Bishop. During this time, Russell was already performing at Tulsa nightclubs. He took the name Leon from a friend who lent him a fake ID to get into clubs he was legally too young to perform in.[18
