@RayatoTV yeah but in all fairness, its very difficult to compare a comedy to a drama. Granted its not as good as The Artist or Drive, but its still solid. Is Annie Hall better then Raging Bull? Its apples and oranges.

They're defending a film for being implausible crowdpleasing entertainment, that critics are needlessly attacking, but that was the same for both of McG's Charlie's Angels films and yet absolutely everyone trashes those. I like the guy - I like his big brash primary colours. I think he's a decent director.

@chemsigfigs I don't know how they didn't know this, they mention Chelsea Handler as if they know who she is and then they say that it is completely implausible that Chelsea and Reese would be friends in real life. We all know how Chelsea Handler got the part in the movie right? Oh yeah, her FRIEND Reese Witherspoon. *eyeroll@WhatTheFlick*

@replicant1027 Based on the lack of reviews, I'm gonna go a head and guess that Ghost Rider was probably not screened for critics. And of course, that's usually a very bad sign.

I personally loved it... I mean, Lauren was sort of flat, but I think the action and comedy in this was amazing. Thing is, it's not the sort of movie like Inception where we can analyze and come up with theories on, nor is it meant to be an emotional film like the Titanic. It's just meant to be a simple movie that gives us a good laugh and it succeeds in that well. Considering that this movie is 2 genres that should never mix, I think it was done fantastically.

The only time these review are useful is when the movies are really good. Otherwise everything in the middle gets blurred.

@kevdav63 Yeah, relative to the enthusiastic review the scores were low. It's unfortunate that fun but well-crafted films don't get the credit they deserve--even among this crowd.

Besides I agree with facts Tom should have won and Reese is not interesting enough to fight for, another glitch is very obvious to a population of let me say 30 million people - we all recognise that the language used between Tom and Ivan is not Russian, but Serbo-croatian, with Tom pronouncing it badly, and Ivan fairly. Sad it is that movie makers did not pay attention to this and did not allow budget for a Russian translator for JUST two sentences.

I don't find Reese Witherspoon attractive at all. I know it's superficial to say, but on the other hand, the studios present her as some sort of bombshell, so I think I get to judge.

Chelsea Handler ??? the best friend was the best thing in the movie. Reese Witherspoon's character would have totally slept with Tom Hardy and kept doing so until they forced her to stop dating both of them. Once it caught up with her, she would have stopped dating for a few months before she started back to dating one or both of them. It was funny because they fell back on pc cues.

That was strange review. 9 minutes of praise followed by scores that don't reflect that praise. Makes one wonder what the scores actually mean. Apparently the scores are just a reflection of the artistic merits of the film, which weren't discusses, as opposed to whether or not it is a good movie worthy of seeing, which the discussion clearly implied.

@RayatoTV Stop focusing on the points, the points don't matter, listen to what they're saying. All movies can't be looked at with the same eyes, using the same point system for movies this different won't work, apples and oranges etc.

This basically summarizes WTF. Check metacritic or rottentomatoes. These 4 clowns are almost the only ones who liked this mess of a movie. The worst channel of TYT. Bar none.
