For God and for country, and faithful to both... You not only saved 60 lives, but 60 souls. Duty, honor, and a willingness to lay down your life if need be, to save a friend. "No greater love..." As a fellow veteran, I salute you, Mike, and thank you for your service to God and our country... then, and now.

If you listen carefully, you will hear that many of Gary Rose's Brothers in Arms are MIA. So many Americans from World War 2, Korea, and Vietnam are MIA. Had his mission not been declassified, only he and those who served with him would know of his selfless sacrifice and devotion to his men. How many other incidents of uncommon valor remain unknown? God Bless our men and women in uniform at home and abroad.

The promise of America is fulfilled by citizens like Captain Gary Rose, Knight of Columbus. Patriotism, selflessness, and faith in God "lives loudly" within him.
