I think it's because Meghan herself just isn't known outside of her music. We get Nicki from her iconic interview and award show and concert moments, tv appearances, beef with celebrities, etc... but Meghan isn't known like that. still, "Thank You" is my favorite song of her EVER and needed ALL the attention
One point of feedback for your videos I'd like to contribute is to ask you to either speak less before introducing the song or play more of the song. I say this because you speak for a while and only give the song 1-2 seconds of screen time. It makes it hard to hear it and would be cool to hear the song more! Also maybe save the whole, "like and subscribe" section till the very end, if you must say it at all on a RU-vid short. Not hating, just trying to help!

'Made You Look' will be a big hit. It's already top 40 in many countries and it will only keep climbing. I would say 'Wave' and 'Nice To Meet Ya' should've been big hits. Both songs were flawless. She's so underrated! Stream her new album "Takin' It Back"

Meghan released a song called "Been Like This" and I don't think it will be nominated for any awards since almost no one listens to it and it has more or less 600k and I don't think it's enough for the billbord hot 100 and the truth is very good.
I was convinced that this song would be a hit. Even without Nicki I would have thought this but with Nicki on it I was completely sure that it was going to be huge. It's still so weird till this day.

Treat myself was overall and master piece of a new sound for her and story telling. I had it on repeat barely any skips for me. I think it’s her best album they way it got overlooked is crazy to me.

Actually I think All About That Bass is one of her worst song ever like it sounds so irritating. Dear Future Husband is definitely better in my opinion
For me, the best from her to date comes from this album as well. It's called Wave Ft. Mike Sabath, the producer. Beautiful lyrics, so well-produced, but sooooo underrated it drives me insane.
I feel like when she came out with "all the ways" and "can't dance" I thought they were gonna blow up. I was like "omg she's back!" And then... nothing. They are bops✌️
She had a poor choice of singles, and the lead single should not have been "No Excuses." Perhaps with a different lead single and a better selection of singles, the album would have been a pop benchmark.
my favorite underrated song from Meghan is Let You Be Right. It honestly was hit material but was released at a time when people were pettily ignoring her music for no reason so it didn’t get the recognition it deserved.
EXACTLY!!!! I kept scrolling thru waiting for someone to pop up and say this. Seems overly dramatic of a statement as it's not like society has the choice. I know for a fact no one called, emailed, or knocked on my door to ask if it should be on radio 😂
