A race is in the car. Not up outside the car. I'm trying to decide if I want to buy this game on sale here or would I regret it. And it's hard when nobody seems to sit within the car. You must be driving with a game pad? Are there Pit stops? Is there car set up adjustment? Not so much game set up but car garage set up?
@@DragonFlySlayer-wf6ne You're entitled to your opinion as to what is racing and what isn't, but I disagree that the only time it's racing is in cockpit view. Anyway, yes, the game has tunes and you would be left in the dust without them. Tuning is essential and covers all kinds of aspects of the car. Yes, there are pit stops. If you want to watch cockpit view, go check out ShabbaRacing on YT. If you're cool with hood cam, check out Grimm Legion Gaming. ✌🏻😎
I like to use my TrackIRv5 head piece I used to use in my DCS world flight sim days. Then I run the sim in VR mode and it enables me to turn my head and use my mirrors etc.... In some sims it also really helps seat placement adjustment too. I just place myself in a position , then calibrate it and bingo, I'm positioned. Most sims it will work that way.
@@CraigT9864 That's well said. But I feel like I am cheating if I am up at a higher aspect angle being a TV camera view. Speed, turning, track apex off of trail breaking within a turn or what not, just a bit more realistic in my mind when driving being positioned within a car's seat at a fair position within a given ride I think. "for me". I also enjoy using my TrackIRv5 on my head and running a sim n VR mode. I can lean turn and use my side mirrors, position myself well too within a seat. But it's all subjective preference , for each HIS or HER own. Not to discriminate. 😎 🏁
Why play this game? There's hidden mechanics to make people chase cars closer and people jn front randomly lose traction just to make races closer. It's a waste of your time and bad muscle memory
@@erraticgt no it's not a real thing man... Leading cars lose tire traction so the people can catch up to it. Believe me you're wasting your time just looking out
It has been fixed for months at this point. We have correct dirty air mechanics, and we have somewhat correct aerowash mechanics. Although dirty air isn't perhaps as strong as it should be on prototypes and high downforce cars, its still present enough that you'd notice it. Aerowash is there but it has been MAAAASSIVELY reduced to the point where it only really happens when you're bumper to bumper (as it should), and it has a marginal and small effect on the leading car (once again as it should).
