To me it feels like "a tale of two cities" part 2. He said "In NY with nothing but a dollar and some hope" so this was back when Cole was grinding trying to come up, following his dreams, and keeping his nose clean while his friend was living the fast and easy life, doing drugs, and flexing. One ends with greatness and one ends with death.

Been a minute since was this emotionally invested in a song start to finish. When the beat dropped, I figured I needed to key on a story. I was not disappointed. One of the best story tracks ever to me!
