yeah and demo 2 just came out and there is alot of extra dialogue secret items around and with how it scales from demo 1 from demo 2 in difficutly and mechanics is amazing
If you go back ro bizville (you can teleport there by using the menu but youll have to walk back to where you are now from roadtown) you can find a boarded up alley with the sword toss card which lets you hit flying enemies with a sword
Yo btw to Rogurt theres a move called sword toss which can allow you to hit flying enemies and target enemies behind others. Its in bizville back alleyway just watch for the rat
Combat initiation and blox tales are literally the most fun games I’ve ever played recently. Akin to how good adventure story era and prime boss fighting stages was.
This game is really fun and refreshing to play/see. My only experiences playing RPG games as a kid was Paper Mario:TTYD and M&L Superstar Saga so this immediately clicked with me frame one. The music/combat is great and the dialogue is pretty funny and also the references to old roblox ads is pretty cool too for old/new roblox users. Like the Builders Club ad with the GMoD characters. The animations are amazing too! So much character in'em One thing I noticed is that the game using the rolling health mechanic from Earthbound. It's not likely you'll recover more health till you increase it. But it's cool that the creator added it, will definitely be useful in the late game as chapters come out and more floors are added in the pit. Hope to see you play more as they release chapters :) Also Pressure finally released, would love to see you play that again!
I did it on the second try, and abused the hell out of the Ice Dagger. If they are going to allow us to fast travel they should allow us to teleport to any spawn location in that place.
@@animeluigiboy I did it solo too, died twice against it. For its tentacle/poison move i just spam spacebar and pray lol, and spent 2 items, the tea that removes ailment and red pepper that heals a little and makes my attack inflict fire. Used both the pepper and rocket boots attack and I just make sure the boss is permanently on fire and dodge/block the big bite. Besides that its just ice dagger whenever possible. To heal the chip damage from tentacle/poison move.
Got it first try👍 Stack up on items that recover hp and sp, ice dagger abuse, dynamites and rocket boots help big time. Launchers with sword skill combos could create heavy damage too
I love how this is like one of the only games where taking someone else's pov works really well. Tai really is the funny dude that is also crazy reliable
I know in the vid you said rpgs aren’t usually your thing, so seeing you have fun w block tales is nice Hope you guys like it enough to play the rest of chapter 1 & maybe chapter 2, that’d be cool I think

fun fact: if you go back to buzville (aka the area the hotel you start in is at) theres an area that is boarded off which when you destroy it you get into a fight with rats and when you beat those rats you can go to the trash can near where you beat the rats its called sword toss and it lets you hit air enemies with the sword for one sp
So this is basically Mutiplayer Paper Mario TTYD (The Thousand Year Door) which is often considered the GOAT of the Paper Mario games. There is also aspects of Earthbound, another Enjoyed RPG series. Mainly the UI, including the slowly- falling HP counter, letting you save someone from death with some quick thinking.
The Tai perspective was a crossover i was not expecting but it was certainly a pleasant one also the devs of this game cooked so much harder with the roblox [engine] oven then the entire corporation did with the roblox OG event
If you want ANOTHER quality roblox game (ironically also based on classic roblox), then I'd highly recommend Phighting!, although its very different to the usual type of game you play really, it being a 5v5 hero third person shooter. It's really good though and I highly recommend! Although there's currently no parties so the only way to play with the people you want to is either use the code system (each lobby has a code in the top right when you join it) or using private servers. Still highly recommend as it is chaotic as all hell and my personal favourite roblox game, although it has some balancing issues rn but that doesn't realy drag it down much
The mechanics are fun, the lore is gut wrenching, silly, and very charming,, the music is FIRE, and the game is just, full of passion and is just a straight up masterpiece of a game
i already completed demo 2 of this game, watching you guys learn new stuff and enemies is so funny😭😭 you guys didnt take sword toss btw. go back to bizville and from the sign that points to different stuff go up and left, there should be planks. you break them, fight the rats, and the sword toss is in the trash bin. sword toss is basically like ball, you can use it on flying enemies. also, the sword actually bypasses 1 defense. dont recommend using ball on at least 1 defense enemy.
