I spoke with the lovely Isabella and verified that the first run of decks have the miss colored pages. Just a printing error. Next production run will be corrected.

Editing/printing errors like that really irritate me! I'll get over it and I'm definitely getting the mass market version. I've got the indie and want to have the mass market too.

Same issue with tarot of the witches garden by Llewelyn, one of the biggest publishing houses, messing up the numbers in the major arcana. How does a big house like Llewellyn? Let that happen? So either we pay our money and get an inferior product or we have to wait a year or two for the next printing.

I have the indie deck. I think the MM version is just fine. The MM guidebook is great. If I'd missed out on the indie deck, I would grab the MM.

I share your opinion on motorcycles (anything that looks too much like something I would actually see in real life really throws me off) but when you pulled the death card, I thought I actually would dig death on a motorcycle, Good Omens style 😂

I totally relate to the motorcycles. The station wagon didn’t bother me too much because she was sitting on top of it. Looking at a map. Still don’t know if I can pull the trigger on the deck 😅

Dani, great walkthrough, thank you ! 🙂🦋❤ As relating to motorcycles, I think of them as a blend of 2 of pentacles + Wheel of Fortune. Getting tired of feeling on the edge, balancing things and finally making them work FOR you and not TO you. I'll definitely buy this gem !!

Thanks Dani, I’m excited for the extra card and new spreads but I don’t think I’ll like the card stock I have an indi and I love my black backs way more. It goes with how I use it no nonsense readings especially love reading it’s honest and the light backs change that for me

GONNA COMMENT AS I WATCH - First of all, so stoked I finally get to watch you give your thoughts on my fave deck ever. 😍😍😍SECONDLY... what is WITH the zombie star? There are definitely some color issues with the guidebook images. Not sure how I feel about that 🤣 Totally get the motorcycle thing - not something I notice but it makes sense. OMG THE CARROT ON THE KNIGHT OF PENTACLES 🥕🥕🥕I bet the every other green is because the pages were printed evens and odds before assembly lol. The guidebook looks really comparable to the indie version - the biggest difference is that in the indie - you get a full page picture of every card, including minors - so the only thing that seems to be removed is the full size images for the minors. The only other difference is the bonus card which is exclusive to this Mass Market edition! :)

When I talk to Isabella, she actually said that the mass-market version has a little more than the indie! She said because of the soft cover, and the way that it was edited she was able to put a bit more in there! I thought that was so cool 🙌

This is the exact same as the original except it’s a glossier card stock and seems to be heavily laminated. I did not purchase it because I already don’t use the original often enough.

Motorcycles with the knights are just fine. BUT the motorcycles in the Chariot is a big NO! Horses are much more primal and unpredictable and motorcycles are man-made, easy to manage, control and predict, i just think this is not what chariot is about, its a moon/cancer card 🙄and if I can choose - no modern vehicles anywhere 😂

This deck isn't for me, although I love so many of the representations. It just doesn't work for me tarot wise.l. although I wish it did! But if it did I would just have to be disappointed with the cardstock. I can't with the thick liminal 11 card stock. I just don't enjoy working with it. I have the Citidel pre-ordered because I don't care as much with oracle and I'm obsessed with that deck. (Also with the green filter justice reminds me of She-Hulk Jennifer Walters)

I find the citadel ones were a bit thinner. I could be wrong… maybe just less cards so it seemed thinner 🤷‍♀️lol Yes it does!!
