Just got mine in the mail. On high this thing is ridiculously bright. The button is pretty strong so I wouldn’t worry much about it turning on unintentionally in your pocket. Well made and very solid in the hand. Strong magnet is super handy to free up your hands to get things done. The battery gauge is awesome. The only con I found was that the clip for a hat is very tight making it difficult to get on the bill of a cap. I bent mine slightly to make it work a little better. 100% recommended.

Love that torch! One other feature that would be fantastic would be for the magnetic back to articulate so you can point the light at your target. Either that or an additional side light that points 90 degrees off the side. I currently have a Klein that has the magnetic back and can’t count how often I need the light to point off to the side because the only metal available to stick the magnet shines the light away from my work. It would also be cool if they had an insulated version for those who could accidentally come in contact with high voltage. Thanks VCG!

That reversible clip is a brilliant idea i usually end up with mine clipped on the bill of my hat at a goofy angle and almost blocking some view. Talk about much needed engineering.

After using coast and the others, milwaukee has the best light color. It makes a huge difference when troubleshooting in electrical.

I've been having their 100 lumen pen light as my EDC cause non of their lights at the time wasn't was i was looking for but this along with magnets and cap attachment and 500 lumen is definitely a selling point for me definitely getting this asap to replace my current one thanks VCG!!!!

Great info & glad you kept all the unboxing footage! Here’s my tip: Get some 110 lb button magnets that come with double-sided tape (like to stick to a wall and then magnetically hold tools) and stick one on the end of your old big brother EDC light - then you can fish-out the little bro EDC light a little easier next time you dunk it in the 3 ft pipe! !! 🤓

I prefer the older model which not only had a tail switch but also was a real flood light with no hot spot , which is ideal in a lot of work situations.

Vince Milwaukee makes a lot of good lighting but my goto is the Olight baton 3 premium edition. You can charge it in your pocket or on the go. Has all the options of the Milwaukee with 4 modes and a 1200 lumens. I would love to see a head to head between the two pocket flash lights. I appreciate you sharing Milwaukee's new offering.

Me? I'm a headlamp guy, I originally had a husky 1004-592-729 headlamp that was 550 lumens . I loved it. I also got a few for friends and family. Unfortunately my dog chewed up mine. I tried the 700 lumens Milwaukee headlamp with the true view ... not as bright as that husky was ... returned it. Now I have a coast XPH34R which puts out 1025 lumens in high mode. And has a 2075 in "turbo" mode which is a timed output before it drops back down. It also has a focused beam and a appears to have a bullseye light in the middle. I'm happy with it and use it every night.

These have a magnetic tail cap and are rechargeable, much brighter, and it takes years and years rather than months to wear the finish off. It’s also half the size of the maglite you keep in your pocket now. Also uses a tail switch so it doesn’t accidentally turn on in your pocket. I guess Milwaukee will catch up to the good stuff eventually. Good luck with your state of the art Milwaukee flashlight.

I got into the Skil 12v line specifically for their multi-cutter tool. Makes short work of all that packaging. Makita and Bosch also make 12v multi-cutters, but much more $$$ than the Skil. Wish there was a M12 multi-cutter, but they don't even make one.

I’ve used and abused an olight s2r baton 2 every day for 2.5 years and it’s still goin great! But I do like Milwaukee is stepping up their flashlight game

Fenix has some of the best lights. Most of the flashlights and headlamps have battery level indicators and last a very long time with a lot of different options, and are usb rechargeable and usually waterproof/dustproof. I love milwaukee but...

Olight crushes this thing. Check them out. They have so many variations that I'm sure you will find exactly what you want and it will be more powerful. My tiny Baton 3 will do over 1000 lumens and has many settings for less lumens.

I got the 1100 Lumens flash light and loved it but it was a bit big so I bought a 2pack of the pen lights, wish I had heard of this before getting the pen lighte

Random but you aren’t kiding about them getting hot. Not with this flashlight, but I have had my basketball shorts actually catch on fire because of a high lumen head lamp type light. Funny but scary. This flashlight is meant to go on peoples heads while working but at the same time on high it caught my shorts on fire 😂😂😂

It looks like a great light but the inability to change the battery makes it a no go. Not only in a day's work, but also like you mention if by accident in turns on then you are out a light until it recharges which I guarantee that is longer than just replacing a battery. Also means going to be buying a new flashlight ever year or two depending on use. It's just not worth the hassle. Still thank you for the great content! Keep up the good work and all the best!

What type batteries does it take, also with a drop above the posted survival rate, make sure it is safe and doesn't short out and explode while in your pocket or while charging.

If your gonna look into flashlights buy olight, nitecore, fenix, ace beam or thrunite. Those are high end flashlights. For something that size it should at least be 1-2k lumens. My little pocket light has 720 lumens and it’s twice as small

Who makes the best compact flashlight/ laser pointer

The only feature i could see missing would be an auto shut off, but you're opening a can of worms at that point. Run for 30min, 1hr, 2hr or maybe a temperature shut off. Milwaukee already has the temperature shut off technology.

There’s a whole world of amazing flashlights that you’re missing out on. Olight flashlights will blow your mind. The Warrior Mini 2 will easily be the flashlight you put in your pocket everyday. It’s kind of like comparing a Milwaukee Fastback to a Spyderco. The Warrior Mini 2 is cheaper, brighter, has a better charging system, better quality anodizing, smaller form factor etc.
