The crab thing is a common misconception. Only crustaceans turn into crabs. This is why crabs and whatnot do not rule the world, and why fish still exist.
random cross-mod fact: molten steel, slag and liquid plastic all ignore immunity frames when used with immersive engineering's chemical thrower, dealing exactly 40 damage per second to non-fireproof mobs at close range. Oddly enough, this is different from using lava, which caps at 8 dps.

Something that you missed when going over the engines is the efficiency - the higher the redstone level that enters the engine, the faster and more stress is produced. However it isn’t as efficient and consumes more fuel at certain levels. I’d have to double check but I think putting a redstone level of like 12 into an engine makes it the most efficient.
1:10 correction, steal pipe can lock its connections. this allows you to place pies next to each other. at 5:25 you claim that it only slightly increases the output. this is wrong as it also decreases fuel usage.
This addon looks cool. But how balanced is it compared to Create New Age? What I mean is, if Create New Age and TFMG were in a same pack, would one outclass the other and make it pointless? Or do you think they can work together quite well?
I think they would complement each other well, since New Age is more about transforming energy. New age does have solar power which generates heat and can power stirling engines (1024 SU iirc) vs the engines in this mod that put out 10-20k on average but consume fuel. New age also have Nuclear which imo is underpowered.
I have some tip to make the oil rig being self-sustainable. 1.Use LPG, it's enough to power the entire oil refinery. 2.If you're lucky enough to have big lava lake underground near the oil rig, use that infinite lava to feed blaze burner (TFMG distillation tower doesn't support liquid fuel blaze burner so you need to pour them in the bucket and feed those blaze with mechanical hand.) 3.If there's no infinite lava avaliable, tree farm is a good substitude
Would be better if they simplified some stuff (like, why do you need to separate naptha into 2 products, if they get mixed back together anyway) and made more uses for the produced stuff (other than burning it in engines)
The mod still has some place to develop. There are only engines but no other useful items. It should add more specialised use for the components like coal coke, aluminum and plastic to give them the unique values.🎉
hi how did you add gasoline into the creative fluid tank, i tried adding it but it keeps placing the fluid outside of the tank, its not just the creative fluid tank, its with all the fluid tanks and fuel types
I want to know how compatible it is with Create: Diesel Generators. Are there some cases where using Diesel Generators over TFMG would be more efficient? Or is it just a matter of preference?
That's actually the subject of my next video :) In general though the TFMG engines are more powerful but more complex than the Diesel Generator engines
Hopefully it is, I'm considering adding this to my modpack but don't know since I already have diesel generators. Hopefully TFMG is more late game stuff
a yes the fuel mod paradox spend 100 k su on pumping and refining output less than 20 k in 2 blocks ( not counting all the rest making it basicaly steam engine with extra step ) congrats it wase a waste of time
Well by spending 100k su to process fuel you are getting enough of it to supply multiple engines, so this is not disadvantageous overall. But it will take really much to make this whole setup be more efficient than a bunch of steam engines, so for me it (and ig for you) it won't worth it anywhere besides huge industrial modpacks where you will be forced to produce some unholy amounts of power. Just my thoughts
@@temis-san the issue is big mod pack ( if they dont put stuf like mekanism like retards ) will have stuf like bio fuel leting you make max lv steam engine or create new age literaly being the only good convertion of ( power used power gained ) also lot of engine is ok in one spot but if u wana spread them out the pipe hell is the one reason why most fuel mod are unplayable tho in online its good since u can just sell the fuel to other u will still use the steam engine but its at least a way to make economy on su witch most power mod lack but aside from that its mostly useless
