How so? If I was going to buy one I personally would want it brand new from the factory due to the complexity of the electronic components, the plumbing and everything else. Most manufacturers allow you to custom order it exactly how you want it.
Anyone that can afford 700 a night is not going to spend it to stay in that. Anyone that charged less than a cheap hotel/motel could probably make bank. I think I'd rather just own the damn thing myself. Defintely big enough for a family.
@@thomasjrinnus9935 Well at least when you basically stayed at home for pandemic it would be great. Got me thinking of van life a lot as it's cheaper than mobile homes.
I'm doing it!. My husband died almost 2 yes ago. We had a 4500sf home. I sold it. Built an open barn, bought a 5th wheel and moved it underneath. I love it. Wish I'd done it sooner.
I hear you. That's why I thought a travel trailer was a better idea being you can unhook an lock it up an block it in a place... So it's not always moving when you do...
Now that's pretty darn sweet I like all those very unique concept and designs out working especially the electric one very creative getting better each time
@Seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him you should repent when you get people you do not know it said do not judge and unless you will be judged by the major you judge others but way ahead of you brother I know the Lord more than you know I love the Lord morning you know maybe you should seek him for forgiveness of judging others you do not know
With Read being sky high and out of control this is my next option. Plus if I wanna go see the snow I can drive up and if I want it to be warm it can be warm. But I most definitely am thinking about having a travel home it’ll be way cheaper than paying $2300 for a one bedroom
The last thing you want to be is Flashy on a Road Trip. Especially in these days. Some of them are actually practical to use. The other ones make you a driving target. Unless you are using this in discreet locations or on Sets for a production. I don't advise using some of these on an actual road trip.
So yeah, rich people dont really go on camping trips. Lets be honest. Completely useless for 99,9% of the real outdoors people. Very casually mentioned prices, like anyone can just throw away lets say £150,000 for something they'll use once in a while. Why even bother to go camping if this is the kind of gear you need to be outdoors? 😂
But it's a cunning way to lighten the wallet of those who have unnecessary money. However, the promotion no longer says that parking options (especially in nature) are very limited, so it will again end up in a campsite with a connection. However, there are people who need a motorhome for privacy, such as racing drivers and similar professions, who usually earn for such a motorhome in one season and have a reserved place in the place.
Well is in my prayer requests for my two daughter's with special needs and myself a single momma !!!! I am working toward buying one.Ty is beyond words especially amazing!!
If you thought taking care of special needs kids was difficult, Imagine being stuck in an RV that requires constant high price maintenance. Try renting one first and see how it goes. You might hate the lifetsyle.
All I can think about is driving down the road in the convertible roof Rv they showed first and all the cat and dog hair flying around!😹 It simply doesn’t matter how much you vacuum if you live with cats and a dog there’s ALWAYS A LOT OF HAIR EVERYWHERE! 🥺 I would love to have that one though except for when we’re moving with the top open the cat’s will need to ride together in a carrier or there’s going to be panic scattering! 😏❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸
I don't quite get the idea! If it is for "civilized" places than any good hotel would be more convenient. If it is for the "wild" places, than you need to protect this "mobile home" from the potentially hostile environment so there has to be an army carriers in addition to the vehicle.
Such vehicles are not normally allowed in "virgin" places and public areas. There remains a camp that allows parking for a limited time with proper service. Outside of civilization, it is really at your own risk and, in addition to the interest of the police, it is also an opportunity for criminals. It pays to agree with the landowner whether it is possible to spend the night with him.
@Susan Blais I don't want to be a lawyer for anyone, but the premise really was that no one would let you into "virgin" places without a special permit and a hefty fee. The commercials show beautiful images, but the fact is that a luxury motorhome is more for a top athlete or movie star who is allowed to park in designated places, such as in the parking lot in front of the racetrack, etc. Others have to go to the autocamp. You are right that a dirty hotel or motel is a hygiene problem. Therefore, it is necessary to have a plan and choose.
This whole video is an amazing and disgusting testimony of how we insist on converting precious resources into useless junk that nobody needs and only the 1% can afford. Just incredible.
Land price is staggering. After three decades, mobile homes will be a trend and even fashionable. The civil authorities should regulate as well as promote the practice.
These are amazing but I sure would hate to put gas in them. Mine wasn't as fancy as these but my big one only got 3 mpg so surely these newer models do better than that.
my sister trying to get me to build her a travel home and I'm like huh? forfree no budget? so i found her a tent 🎪 and strapped it to a bicycle 🚲 she's wanting to go far and I'm like yeah it's the current gad bit your talking a 2yr project for one unfunded builder I do know i can get her a panel for 100$ to charge a scrap yard var battery and gather most other materials from scrap yard but still time and cost of the materials and time cost labor ... she was imagining having it in a week 😅😂🤣🤣😭🤣😝 i might however be able to build it relatively 1 per month or multiples simultaneously per month for around 5k each just in materials costs and no "gold plated marble countertops" it'd be a simple shelter from elements that carries your minimum supplies and of course provides a portable power source for small appliances aka your Nokia brick cellphone 📱
I'd love a tiny home or motor home too. But my husband and I are both disabled so it would have to be one story, with no upstairs or roof access. I've seen several tiny homes that would work for us. We live in a three bedroom, two bathroom mobile home right now and it's too big. We just don't need all this space. We basically use the master bedroom and bathroom, the kitchen and the family room. We have a guest room set up and we use the other bedroom for storage, but we could totally do without that.
Not true in the slightest. Accepting reality is the most efficient way to solve a problem. I could go on and on, but I've learned that people don't like reading much anymore.
You both have points. However, the education never ended for me. Through nearly 7 decades of living, there is barely a subject I haven't studied. I have the capacity for an open mind which allows me to accept everything, and an acceptance of reality through logic and reason. As for these wonderful machines, they have given me several good ideas for me too build a small but versatile camping trailer of my own
@@Bluesidian Do you also live by the forest? And the mountains? And the snow? And have a house in every state? Some people like visiting the locations but don't like the tent aspect. If they want to spent $150,000 on it, then best of luck to them.
Love to see some of these mobile homes feature in a tv show with a zombie apocalypse setting, with them as the main focus. Or has it already been made?
This is not a MOBILE HOME, that’s incorrect English! This is a MOTOR HOME, or an RV (Recreational Vehicle) . The term MOBILE HOME referred to a pre-fab home made out of aluminum that was imported to a fixed location (usually a mobile home park - a developed peice of land with hundreds of designated small lots with water and power hook ups waiting for the mobile home to arrive and it will likely stay there for decades without moving again) and it will be detached from the drive vehicle
I would love to know the price of the NUCAMP 2022 CIRRUS 820, maybe it can be affordable for more people. To me it would be perfect since it has place for 4 people and that is exactly what I need for my family, plus I can lend it to my daughter and her husband for a long trip. That is exactly what I need to camp out.
Pfffff what an awful commenter. Talk normal..not with that high voice... The "movies" are perfect but its terrible how he speaks...
My ol 1986 dodge ram suits me just fine. And I don't have to worry about people breaking in cause it scares everyone. Bend Oregon hated it. And then wade fagen gave up his chance at city council to save it.
Machines for filthy rich, lazy people who don't want nature to be involved in their camping trip...that is setting up tents, building campfires , shitting in the bushes while getting bitten by insects😁😁😁the whole nine yards of the experience
It's all very cool, but this is about the rich "slumming" it in a motor home. Takes away from the freedom of the common person living "off grid". The DIY van and bus conversions are far better because there is heart and soul in it. This attempt by companies to make camping 🏕️ a rich persons excursion is a way of pricing "normal" people out of the game and to make it seem it's not for them. What van living and motor home is not for is super rich people turning it into a compition where their money makes them an easy winner. Not so. In the event of the apocalypse all that slickness and technology is not worth a dime when a double barrel is pointed and you and you hear " you're gonna hand me the keys to this here motor home Nancy boy, and keep walking" 😎
How about monitoring the comments and replies so that people don't have to read or skim over the propaganda that people are writing on here. I gave up trying to read some of the comments and replies bcuz the majority of the replies were the same stuff about Jesus this and Jesus that and this is no place for any of it. It has nothing to do with anything 🙄 😒
The idea of a traveling hotel is a neat gimmick but 700 a night for a closet size space is laughable and destroys the idea of this being for every day surfers or campers.
700US$ for a room in a trailer called "Surf Hotel"...??? They will not have much costumer in Europe though the price is almost the price of a 5 stars hotel... 🤣
