Part of Eternal Mode in the og game's gimmick is giving you shitloads of eternal hearts mixed with the fact red hearts are not capped at 12. Would be a lot easier with that

FYI bloodpuppy is actually invincible and it can't hit you for the first few seconds of entering a room do you don't accidentally rush into it and take damage

If you’re working with base stats and items. 1 damage is technically better than .7 years but the difference is .283 damage per second better. Meaning it would take probably an additional 2ish seconds to kill early floor bosses if you play 100% perfectly. Depending on the enemies you run into on the floor I think tears is generally better because unless you get enough damage to start one tapping spiders the tears will be better
