I have been waiting for a mod like this to give fabric a good try since I only like to play with rpg style mods and this one is the first one to really catch my interest so thank you for the amazing video introducing me to it
Curseforge published a list of compromised mods and this mod is not among them. I am also in direct contact with the developer, so you can safely download the mod. If you are unsure about curseforge, you can download it from modrinth. :)
@thimblebird I didn't say that modrinth was more secure. However, modrinth was not affected by the malware outbreak as they stated on their official twitter account. So, if people feel safer using modrinth, they can use that platform to download the mod. But as these mods were not among the compromised on curseforge, you can safely download them from curseforge as well. :)
Man! I want nothing more than for this mod to get forked and backported to Forge 1.18.2. It would fit right in with Sharkie's Medieval Minecraft 2 Modpack. I mean there is the Paladin Origin, but it doesn't give you spells to use. Just increased damage vs undead and healing one heart per attack you land.
This is such an amazing mod but it feels like the paladins and priests were not given much attention at all. It would've been fun if for example the hammer hit everything in a 3x3 square in front of the player dealing high damage but high cooldown. Plus if each weapons had one useful ability, like a giant smash with a hammer that maybe stuns targets surrounding the paladin since paladins often are surrounded by enemies in RPGs. The claymore had a longer sweep and did medium (higher than dia sword) dmg but slower attack speed than dia sword. And it could have a 360 degree sweep which would blow enemies away a few blocks. Would be fun for other things as well like pushing people off cliffs haha. The mace could be low damage single target thing with high attack speed (keeping it very simple), or it could maybe flail from left to right while pushing targets slightly in the flail direction as well! It's special ability could be a long reach attack where the top of the mace flail thingy flies off and hits someone pushing them away kinda like a fishing rod but with diamond sword level damage. If that's less maybe some kind of movement could be bound with each of the special ability like, for the hammer, it would jump you 3 or 4 or 5 blocks based on how long you charge and slam I the ground with the special ability. It could be useful for scaling stuff. With the claymore maybe you got launched in a certain direction for like 10-15 blocks based on how long you charge and sweep 180 degrees at the end while hitting everything in the way. Again, would help with other than fighting scenarios since ur not gonna be fighting all the time and maybe scaling long ravine gaps too?? flail could uhhhh hmmmm.. no idea rn what a mace would do, maybe procs bleed effect or something? Not much idea haha, just wanted to comment this so hopefully I can get it across to somewhere. AND HAVING VANILLA FRIENDLY ANIMATIONS FOR TEH WEAPONS AS WELL, THEY GET NO ANIMATIONS WHILE WIZARDS GET ALL TEH ANIMATION!?
dude PLEASE make an in depth guide into the Celestial mod, the one who makes skies costumizable, i havent found a single good guide on it, i really want to add a sky like the one you have in your youtube banner into a modpack im making
bro how can i know the list of mods and modpacks that were in the list of malware that curseforge published? also i was waiting for anyone to review this mod cuz its so simpleee and easy to use and also fun thanks for the vid bro
What are the dungeons mod name? The bosses look so good! Another really cool video and this is the mod i was looking for months now so thx for doing mod showcases!
so i see in my mind there is 2 posibilities...or else the mod its like elder scrolls online: the classes have nothing to do with current RPGs and are original from the creator or else (like 90% of RPGs do) you do the dnd thing of putting every class on dnd and they may add subclasses or no, depending on how much people its developing the mod and how hard it can be
it's too bad you can't mix and match wizard spells so you can rock fire, ice, and lightning like a classic black mage, but i appreciate any mod that give you the classic RPG feeling of final fantasy or dnd! i look forward to seeing more classes like rogue/ninja, archer, bard, and machinist/gunner being added a whole pack of FF14 themed classes would be amazing, but there's surprisingly not a lot of overlap between modded minecraft and 14 players lol
There is just one problem: It can't be downloaded by specifically me. Like, when I try to download the mod, it demands me to download hundreds of extension, only to discover at the last second that "Boo hoo cloth config doesn't work no matter how much efforts you put into installing it to work properly".
Hey dude, how do you get the mod to work on 1.19.2, because every time I try it give me an error code 1. I think its because the AzureLib armor isn't compatible with 1.19.2 but it seems to work for other people so I'm not sure what to do
You can use a connector I am using the mod on forge bc when i open my fabric it crahses so i play the fabric mods on forge Just search "how to add fabric mods to forge"
Guys the malware problem is now been solved..At least for now There is a possibilty of another malware whether it's from the same guy or another but it is safe mostly for now
weird question: are you gonna add other rpg classes, or only the magic based ones? I always thought a monk class that allowed you to attack bare-handed for more damage would be cool
I absolutely love these mods, but I would really wanna see enemies in these kinda mods. One of the things I love about Sorcerium and Irons Spells is they have enemy mages to fight. This mod is my favourite of the bunch but without mage mobs to battle it feels a bit lacking.
this mod has 9 spells? Irons spells and spellbooks has 60, and already has 8 classes. you should do a mod review on that one instead of one that already has a million downloads
Spell engine allows for any amount of spells to be added, this is more of an example for the framework for content then itself a content mod, there are 4 other addon mods that each add their own spells and more otw
I downloaded the mod, got all the requirements, and it's running great! But I can't put the enchanted tome with my class abilities in my inventory; there's no slot for it. Which mod should I download to fix this so I can use the weapon abilities? 🥲🥲🥲
