Well honey, if you're not willing to pay for their nessecities and when you do you expect something else in return when they grow up, that's not being rude, that's called being selfish, manipulative and just straight up a bad parent. I am not calling all south asian parents bad, I'm just calling out a group of people who are as self entitled as heck! It is unfortunately seen mostly in south asian countries. That's what you have a maid of honor and bridesmaids for. They attend to your train, veil , hold your flowers for you etc. They're called bridal attendants for a reason and shouldn't just stand there with one arm as long as the other.

"I'm kinda different on that" Honey, this is not about having a different opinion, if you don't own $5000 that you can spend on a dress, you simply don't. Your wallet doesn't magically expand just because you like something expensive.

This bothers me greatly that some how we are normalizing narcissist behavior as "big opinions" ... This behavior needs to stop. This human being deserves respect and support. We shouldn't be raising our children to always need to depend on us or need us to make all their decisions for them. We need to raise our children to trust in themselves, love themselves, believe in themselves, and be able to make life decisions. There are way too many narcissists that get away with abusive behavior daily. It is absolutely disgusting. This young lady could wear ANYTHING and look beautiful. It should be completely up to her what she wears 100%.
