Will definitely be trying the new version. Live by my old one.. even though I did fall prey to the camera malfunction. User error and nothing to blame on the mount! The problem happens when you open your camera while the phone is mounted and you’re riding. The vibrations must have killed the camera’s stabilizer so now one of them shakes to all hell when opened. Quality video man! Appreciated
I just recently bought one for my BMW and it looks like this one minus the beefier back part. I’m wondering if mine has the dampening in cause it does not look like that. The back part of mine looks like the old one but i don’t see on the website to order the damper.
The spring on the previous version is starting to lose it's tension. I have to keep on re-adjusting the phone before it falls out. The KLR vibrates but I don't think it's as bad as the HD. Hopefully that has been improved in this version.
