I’m thinking Brock’s. Watched his vids and he’s talking some weird stuff. Watch the z900 video and zx10R Installs power commander on bikes… Why?? 2wheel actually knows what he’s talking about.
I am new to motorcycle tuning. I own an R3 with a LV full exhaust system. I do not require any fancy tuning; I simply want to ensure that the bike is safe to ride. I contacted several shops, but none of them inspired confidence that they could properly tune my bike. Then I watched 2WDW's video, which revealed the lengthy process required to tune a bike correctly. That video convinced me that 2WDW is a company that does what it says it will do. I have ordered my tune and hardware, and I am eagerly awaiting their arrival.
If the stock o2 sensor is still in place the bike is fine because the ECU's have learning algorithms in them to keep the bike in tune. It's another massive myth that any exhaust upgrade must have a tune or the bike will be destroyed.
the fact that you make these kinds of videos and explain stuff warrants my support and trust. it establishes a connection between customer and tuner and i thank you for that. i will flash with you when i can afford to make the jump. for now i will continue to watch your videos and learn, it’s a lot of fun and i always remember to like the video 😊 don’t ever change, i appreciate the details! (P.S. is it worth flashing, modding the air box, getting some v stacks, and a better air filter on a Ninja 400; that is used as an all-in-one daily commuter and backcountry twisties toy?)
I got my Gen 6 ZX-10R tune by 2WDW. I love it and my quick shifter and auto blipper are butter smooth perfect. A buddy of mine has a 23' zx-10R hat he got a Bren tune. and the difference is night and day. There is no comparison between the two.everyone should have two wheel dynoworks tune their bikes.
I second this, I have sent 3 Kawasaki ECU's to Nate, and all 3 bikes are absolute cruise missiles and butter smooth. You can't even compare to the Bren, Moore, Brocks or Local tunning, there is no comparison, 2WDW or leave it stock.
That Ecu is a dragrace ecu as you can see. There is some tricks to lower your 60ft by manipulate the trottle response. Dragraces don't use low and midrange rpm... You can't compare Circuit and Dragrace tune.
So far youve tuned my 2016 & 2020 Zx10R, my 09 ZX6R, my 23' ZX4RR... Youll also get my exu from my 21' ZX6R and ill be grabbing your velocity stacks for the newer gen. You've literally never missed and I've been more than happy every single time. I constantly point ppl in your direction. Idk why ppl go anywhere else
When I got my '23 ZX-4RR, Nate was developing the tune for it, day by day. I sent in my ECU, and got the bike derestricted. It was instantly better. In a very short period of time, he had two newer revisions that solved some problems people were having. The beauty of the 2WDW ECU flash is that as revisions come out, all you have to do is send in your ECU, and it'll get the latest, greatest, free of charge. Absolutely top notch.
I’m very pleased with the tune you flashed on my ‘22 Versys 1000. Got rid of the twitchy throttle! It’s much easier to do low speed maneuvers now. Bike pulls hard all the way to redline. Before it seemed like the last few thousand rpms were only for noise.
I have no problem spending money on you guys, as you've capably explained and demonstrated what proper tuning is all about. But for my own sake, it sure would be nice to have names of crap tuners.
I agree with you, as a customer I’d like to know who to stay away from. I had my 22 zx10r flashed bike BT Moto I’m not exactly happy with the flash. Telling my wife I spent 1200 bucks on their BS tune now have to send it in to another tuner and have it done right ya she’s ain’t going for it. I’ll worry about having it flashed right once I can afford a full system exhaust. I get why u won’t throw names out there but would really open our eyes as to who to stay away from. Just because they have a big following on YT don’t mean shit. STAY AWAY FROM BT MOTO! What a waste of my hard earned money
@@Lyrethar All I know about them is they were being spoken about a lot years ago on 650ib channel for modifying European brand ECU. Initially I had an interest in the 650 channel, but the sort of interest you have watching a train wreck. Got very tired of people flaunting their wealth, endangering public, and shilling products and shops.
I agree, but disparaging others in the same field as one is in shows poor character. It takes ALOT to not do this, trust me, as a small business owner, I know.
And for this reason, I am so excited to send my ECU off to you guys next week. I was so worried about sending my ECU off to be flashed and not actually tuned on a dyno incase the air fuel was off. I can’t wait to throw my SC Project CRT on and see what this bike should really feel like. Thank you for taking time to show us why you guys are the best. It makes me so much more comfortable knowing the person tuning my $18k bike knows what he is doing.
@@subzero-ku2wx it's drama. You can drive bad shops out of business without giving them attention. Just promote and spend money with good ones. You are just looking for someone to take out all your life's frustrations on
@@future62 lol It helps the customers and the community in general if subpar work is being performed. This does provide accountability and allows the tuner doing the subpar work to acknowledge the criticism and respond appropriately. If anything, the thinly veiled allusions seem to be causing speculation about multiple popular tuners, thus creating more drama. Pretty strange how you're not into holding folks accountable.
I flew over to Washington last year and hand carried my ECU for my 23' ZX-10R (didn't tell him my youtube name at the time) and met Nate and Pat who were very professional. Nate sat me down and showed me the garbage map/tune I got from a tuner in LA in California. Nate was so kind enough to show me that there was literally nothing done by the tuner who at the time guaranteed me that they were going to put in their race tune which they had on one of their race bikes. This was utter lies and my bike ran like crap, they told me to come in for a dyno tune to sort it out which I knew was a whole bunch of BS. Luckily I did my research and found 2wdw. My videos on my channel of me carving the canyons ever so smoothly is based off of their tune! Since July of 2023 my bike was amazing with 2wdw tune. Currently have 3000 miles on it and no problems what so ever. The only thing I can say about their current map is I feel that it would need the throttle by wire mapping adjusted a bit more. Cracking the throttle open on 2nd or 3rd gear when coming out of a corner can at times give more fuel and make the bike feel a little jerky. I do ride it on Full power mode and at low TC setting. I also run the graves throttle tube that makes it lose the massive play that the OEM throttle tube provides. Other than this I have had no issues. Maybe there is version 2.0 provided for their existing customers 🙂coming soon!
Yep my bike does the same with the on and off throttle. I did not have that issue with the BT Moto flash. Switched to woolich, now the bike has a twitchy throttle and horrible shifts.
@@throttletube That’s not an option I’d like to go down as I already have a large investment in tuning hardware/software for my gsxr750. I’d like to get someone that can run it on the dyno with my stuff as I don’t want my ECU locked. I was planning on taking it to Motorsport exotica. Yay or nay?
Can't recommend them as they are the ones who said will flash and put their map. Ran like garbage, the AFR was so rich and my shifts were horrendous. 2wdw showed me a comparison on the bench. Night and day difference. My ZX-10R runs like a champ 🏆 now. Good luck
My Ecu is on its way to you.. I'm excited to feel what my bike is supposed to feel like with a proper tune. Current tune was supposedly flashed/tuned on a dyno by a shop in LA.
Recently got my '23 ZX10R ECU tuned by Nate and 2WDW. I couldn't be happier with how much better it runs absolutely everywhere. They tune the bikes to run better in the real world on the street and on the track. I did get my '18 ZX10R tuned by another "famous youtube tuner" and to be completely honest on the throttle response and my "seat of the pants" dyno it was pretty good but..... it basically made the quick shifter useless. I did email the "famous tuner" about the issue and never got a response. Nate and 2WDW will be getting all my tuning business without hesitation. Keep yourselves safe! 😃👍❤🏍🏁 Randy
I used to tune 2 strokes and make expansion chambers way back and hardly ever used a dyno. I had markers painted on the side of a road for 3rd gear roll on at 5500 rpm and check the rpm at the next marker to test mid range. 2nd gear from 5500 and hard thru the gears to a marker for top speed. 1st gear power launch and hard thru the gears to the same top speed marker As well as daily riding for a week or so to get part throttle settings right. Then, and only then, if I thought it was worth it I'd have it dyno'd just to see the true power curve but they ALWAYS changed the main jets which was totally un necessary as it never gained anything more than maybe 1bhp and upset the part throttle in the process, which they never test, dyno runs there were always full throttle.
I'm super hyped that I brought my bike to y'all. After seeing the past projects and showing how wrongly tuned a bike can be and how much more the bike can be enhanced with the tuning y'all provide.
That’s why I chose you guys I love my bike and it awesome to ride and pulls so hard also done by you guys 2 months ago you or so. Thanks G.L from Towson Maryland . S’more mafia sounds familiar issues and there so expensive
I'd agree. Got my BMW and Aprilia from tuners who spent hours perfecting them (RS2E and gabro). There's too much work involved to do it all on a dyno alone, so the base map has to be good to start with.
Totally agree. If one is going to ride any motorcycle on the street, one should always take the time and effort to learn how the tuning tables work, especially higher horsepower motorcycles. The street is not a clean surface track. Tracks go through excruciating pains to ensure the track surface is completely clean. There are a lot of "marbles" and oil to deal with on street surfaces and tuning proper throttle response and braking should be a very high priority.
It’s not the dyno it’s the tuner that determines if it’s tuned right or not. Lots of tuners want to hand you a paper with huge gains on it instead of tuning the bike to perfection. A good tuner can get it closer with a dyno simulating diffrent loads.
The first thing that comes to mind on these new bikes is that there're throttle by wire. My bike is a 2010 and uses a cable for throttle. It's tuned, and is simply a stage 1 set up. I race other bigger bore stage 4 bikes and my tuned 96 stays right with them or outruns them. Mechanical is one thing, but good tuning is everything. The throttle by wire is way to sketchy for me. Far too much delay and very poor responce times. For performance, old school cable throttle, in my opinion is still the best.
Already know who you're talking about 😅😅🤣🤣😅🤣i see alot of people pushing his tunes, but ive never went with it for several reasons, the biggest reason is because this tuner basically only goes in STRAIGHT LINES, meaning from 0 yo wide open throttle 🤔🤔🤔 knowing this fact, i knew he does NOTHING in between 0 and wide open, but if your racing, in circles or around curves and wide open, you need the whole band to be dealt with, anyways im very glad someone has been able to call this nonsense out, because these tunes by people whom are straight line tuners or utube con artists, will get someone killed at best. And to the people reading this, if your guessing the tuner by name or have got your bike tyned already, then i would suggest that you guessed right and to get your bike tuned by someone whom actually RACES on a track. Great video brother and thanks
Yeah I'm pretty sure I know who the previous tuner was. I won't name names, either. Suffice it to say that if you are going to have tuning done, get a shop with a roadracing background to do it. Skip the drag racing and straight-line shops.
There are crooks and incompetent people in every walk of life. They’re worst where the customer has no way to know what should be happening. Like doctors. The last few years, doctors “tuning” of people’s bodies and health has been analogous to this “tuners” work.
The only issue with mail in ecu flashes you can’t get the best tune. They leave a little on the table to be safe. The reason is not all engines are the same.
I don't recommend necessarily associating dyno tuning in and of itself with bad tuning. If the person collecting the data and doing the resultant tuning isn't competent as well as a bit of an artist with a sixth sense for "what an engine wants", he can have multiple dynamometers and the results will be poor.
if only yall were able to support the triumph daytona moto2 outside sending the bike across the country. Such a trustworthy legit tuner! (do you remote tune?)
I got my bike dyno tuned from you guys a couple years ago but I never received the dyno chart when I asked for it. Would you still have that on file? Thanks
Just posted about buying my zx10r and multiple guys recommended you and this video absolutely has me sold. I know nothing about messing around with electronics minus exactly what you mentioned which is going over to dyno and saying "make better please" and your experience on the zx10r sounds like it's going to be worth every cent. The most exciting revelation from this video is that KEBC is tuneable, brought a tear to my eye knowing you can make that better hahaha.
Just wondering why the lack of Honda Tunes on your website. 18 to 24 CB1000r greatly benefits from tuning. Is there something about these bikes that you choose not to tune them or is it just because you haven't got your hands on them to tune.
I wonder if you are working with anyone in Australia? Sending your ECU to U.S is too time consuming and risky. But if you have someone in Australia that has the access to your data and experience I would be interested.
Dang Buddy you have a great sales Tactic here…he does she does is cheap speech here you showed no proof of your tunes on a Dyno .😅and your customer complaining about the Dyno tune being wrong is Bullshit because he gets to take his bike for a ride after the service and comes back to give his report of any issues he felt with it and the tuner will make adjustments per his complaint..I will bet my Bike he did a mail in ecu flash and they are never 💯 correct…if you weren’t all the way in Washington I would Love to have you re Dyno my GSXR to see if you truly can make it any better than I already have from a top tuner in the Bike World..I did enjoy watching your Rant..👊🏼💯
Do you have a tune available for a 2003 Honda CBR1100 Super Blackbird with D&D exhaust? I picked this one up last year that has a Power Commander on it, but I’m not convinced it runs to its potential. Just doesn’t pull like I think it should, though it sounds great.
@@dhess34 For some bikes Nate explained to me there are risk for mail-in (Fail Write/Bricked ECU) when tuning it . Such as my 2018 S1000R, He stated Woolich software works 90 Percent of the time and if anything goes wrong Nate would need the bike in person to recover it. If the bike isn't near it would be very complicated to bring it back to life.
Hi from the uk Great video just glad I'm an old fart now none of my bikes have electronic injection just the old fashioned atmospheric injectocarbs. It must be frustrating for you to see big names pro.ising the earth and giving g nothing Keep up the good work
Its interesting to note that the limitations of dyno tuning is why Formula 1 at the high end levels do their tuning and testing on a full rolling road dyno, in a wind tunnel, so they're actually driving the car under as close to natural conditions as possible and at speed, so there's no surprises when you hit that turn at triple digit speed in turn traffic.
@pimpinkin87 Horsepower equals torque multiplied by rpm, divided by 5252. So, it follows that at 5252 rpm, one more Horsepower requires one more foot/pound of torque; at 10504 rpm 6 more Horsepower requires 3 more foot/pounds of torque. I hope this is helpful.
Damn! Can you please cut the video from 10:38 and post that as a separate video. The dyno only tune without starting from a pre-prepared flash is a huge source of people being scammed and people trying to argue against it need as much reference material as we can get. There's no way a tuner starting from scratch with the bike in their hands for less than a day can go through all the maps and tune them properly.
He did called out Brocks Davidson Tuning with the power commander Piggy back and ECU flash, Which I dont understand why someone would do that. This zx10r could Moore Mafia considering Moore Uses Woolich on many of his vids and Moore is pretty famous.
