This move was so underrated when it came out. I saw it in the theater and had no idea what it was about and loved it. The director, Edgar Wright has made some other great comedic movies like Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Haha I loved Sophie's face in this reaction. She is such a deep thinker and seeing her face as she was trying to make sense of this movie was hilarious to me.

Something nice about Sophie: she’s very pretty, I like her sense of humor, and I like her reaction/commentary. I also like her banters and debates. Her and mair are so engaging while talking, like y’all talking doesn’t feel tiresome, to me personally I can listen to y’all talk for hours. And that is rare for a reaction channel because sometimes it feels draining to listen to others talk,comes off unnaturally and force. But to me it feels natural when you guys conversant, like talking amongst friends basically and that’s the vibe I get from you guys we are all friends here that’s hanging out with you guys over the weekend.

There’s no parents because they’re adults who live on their own…

Sophie is amazing. She’s hella incisive and always gets IT. Every time. She figured out the plot of this movie while everyone else was trying to figure out the opening commercials.

Thomas Jane - Blonde Vegan Police Officer. Also played the Punisher in the second movie about that character. Brie Larson - Envy Adams. Went on to play Captain Marvel in the MCU. Brandon Routh - Todd Ingram. Also played Superman in one movie, The Atom in multiple DC Comics television series, and Dylan Dog in the movie by the same name. Mae Whitman - Roxy Richter. Voiced Tinkerbell in the Disney fairies franchise. Clifton Collins Jr.- Second Vegan Policeman. Also played Romeo in the second Boondock Saints movie.

The song "Black Sheep" is originally by Metric, but the version in the movie is actually Brie Larson (Envy) doing the vocals.

With how awkward scott is, we all expected him to not know how to fight hahaha I gotta say I love this movie!! The directing, comedy and editing still holds up until now. I find everything so interesting, unhinged and unique about this movie. All the fastpace gags, fights, soundtrack, dialogues, camera work etc is just so cool.Wish there were more movies like this!

This is weirdly one of my favorite movies ever.. it’s just so good, so creative. And Sophie is the bomb diggity.

It's almost like they live in a Comic Book that is also a Beat em' Up Arcade Game from 1988 to 1992.

Sophie is open to a lot of stuff in movies, even if it's something she probably was not interested in before, which is refreshing. I like how she at least give stuff a chance, even if it's weird to her at first. I'd recommend all of this director's movies. He has a fun unique style to all his movies, it's never cookie cutter or formulaic. I'd like to see you guys react to Big Fish.

The fast pace cuts and everything is the style of Edgar Wright the director.

I will give you the short version on Nega-Scott. Many characters have a recurring number associated with them. Scott is a zero. He drinks coke zero, his replacement is Neill (nil), etc. Nega-Scott is a negative zero, so still just another zero! No wonder they hit it off!

The movie is more enjoyable when you know the references, like the names of the bands coming from games for the Nintendo Entertainment System, like Clash at Demonhead, and Crash N’ The Boys. It’s also a NES thing getting coins after defeating an enemy, like in the game River City Ransom. The Katayanagi twins’ musical monster being 2 dragons is a reference to Double Dragon. There are also musical and sound cues from The Legend of Zelda A Link to the past for the Super NES.

I'm not a "gamer" but I've played enough games in my life to appreciate the creative vision that went into this movie. It's sad when our society is so brainwashed and used to the bland boring drama [of typical famous producers from nowhere] produced films, that they can't recognize art when they see it. 😕 Just because someone is the loudest doesn't mean they actually have something worth saying.

Sophie's takes on game of thrones made me feel stupid about when I watched the show, she figured out stuff that took me another season or two to realize. When Mair is asking about more great comic adaptations, I guess you mean comic style. No movies do it like this except for deadpool, sin city and across the spider verse which does it the best in my opinion. But if you're asking for more great comic book adaptations I would recommend Logan, it's a great movie which is very dramatic and there is a Deadpool X Wolverine movie coming up so you guys can catch up.
