they picked up it was geto just from the shadow of his hair, him not having the stitches on his head, remembering the inumaki clan symbol on toge's tongue so immediately picked up on the megaphone before it was explained, the black flash record, etc. I love it when reactors actually pay attention.

fun fact yuta was supposed to be the main character for jujutsu kaisen but the author changed his mind and chose yuji as mc cause he would be more appealing/yuta is already very strong from the start and gojo already said in season 1 if anyone has the potential to get as strong as him its yuta so instead he chose yuji who gets stronger as the show progresses Another thing they didn't mention in the movie is that when Yuta finally broke Rikas curse he got demoted to grade 4 but gojo hired the rope guy to train yuta so 4 months after Yuta gained his rank back as a special grade and that's why yuta wasn't in season 1 he was with the rope guy training in kenya.
Fun fact: at the end when gojo goes to visit Yuta is actually in episode 4 of season 1. That's why the higher ups were able to send yuji and them on a mission to potentially get yuji killed by the cursed womb at the detention centre

Miguel isn't part of geto's "family". He's a mercenary (gun-for-hire) type of guy. After losing rika, yuta was demoted to grade 4. Gojo was impressed with Miguel's skill level and was interested in the cursed rope he used when fighting against him because it could disrupt gojo's technique (reason why gojo was extra physical in that fight). Gojo tracked down miguel and in exchange for his life, he made miguel train yuta from grade 4 back to special grade in the space of 4months
He is part of Geto’s family though. I know this comment was made before that was clarified, but it was never stated he was a mercenary in the first place so that’s an assumption passed off as fact. Also some of this is revealed later so I would count it as spoiler-ish. Besides Yuta being in Africa, the rest is not revealed. Also the idea that he got to special grade while training with Miguel is pure speculation. We don’t know if he went to Africa after regaining special grade status or not.
You guys got most connections to season 1. @5:55 One more connection would be that the person who was responsible for Orrimoto Rika's death by the accident was the Juvenile Detention Center prisoner, Tadashi from the 1st season. Megumi stated that it was his second offense of diving without a license and he hit a little girl. The little girl was Rika.
That's a stretch. Rika died when she was 10 and spent six years as a curse. Obviously I don't know how Japanese law works, especially when it comes juvenile incarceration but he should be close to Yuta's age if he's not serving as an adult.

I love how you guys predicted so much and were so aware like Rika being created by Yuta himself even tho they made it seem like it was Rika who cursed Yuta as well as Rika getting Jealous of Maki. Hats off to your guys intuition
Fun fact, in this movie we saw a past convo between Gojo & Geto. Young Gojo said why sorcerers should be so righteous and protect the non-sorcerers who don’t even know the existence about them. Meanwhile Geto said it doesn’t matter, it’s just responsibilities. Now the table turned upside down where Geto wants to wipe all the non-sorcerers including Maki(which he refers them as monkeys) and just want to build a world only for the sorcerers meanwhile Gojo is performing his duty as a regular sorcerers. It’s like both‘s goal were exchanged at some point.
Also Geto said in the last that he don’t hate anyone from the Jujutsu society, it’s just he can’t live happily with how the Jujutsu society works(which is to protect the non-sorcerers).
This movie is called 0 because Gege Akutami made the JJK 0 Manga at the very first as a one-shot manga. After it got serious hits and lots of positive feedback, he made the manga as we know how. But Anime Season 1 was made some where between Culling Games Arc in Manga. So we started with the next part of Manga first and then we got the movie 0.
Yeah Ange ...this is where Yuta is in s1 and it's the reason why gojo was overseas visiting yuta which allowed the higher ups to send the gang on that mission against a special grade cursed spirit in which yuji dies in the episode .
They missed Gojo threatening the Jujutsu higher-ups, bummer, that was such an epic moment too. EDIT: Just wanted to say, while they might've missed this ONE SMALL THING, they DID notice SO MANY other small things that most other reactors on YT haven't. It shows how much they actually care about what they're watching with us, and how they're just a cute couple who happen to be just as big fans of the series as the rest of us viewers are! you are the first reactors i've seen realize that miguel was on the side of jujutsu high now, so many think yuta turned evil randomly for no reason. you paid attention and noticed so many small things that so many people overlooked and forgot

You guys may be the first reaction i've seen where you instantly wondered how Rika became a curse. Feel like everyone else just skipped over that like it's a normal thing edit: in general, you guys caught more than any other reaction channel i've seen. Genuinly, big props to your attention to detail.
Yay! I’ve been patiently waiting for the re-upload because I missed it the first time. So glad it’s here in time for season 2! Can’t wait for those reactions coming up! ❤
A few fun facts about / related to this prequel (SPOILER FREE): 1) When the mangaka was originally redesigning characters for the series proper, inumaki had to be changed because he looked too much like yuji, and he was worried readers might get confused. 2) This movie marks the first appearance of “curse-reverse” techniques (i.e. healing). Which strangely enough were used VERY limitingly in season 1. 3) Yuta and Miguel can actually be seen on their trip in the last portion of Opening 2 from season 1. 4) Considering how Yuta and Shinji Ikari from Evangelion share a lot of similar character traits, it’s not surprising that they actually share the same voice actor. The series takes a LOT of inspiration from Eva (in aspects which I won’t discuss for spoilers’ sake). So this is ends up being one of those happy little coincidences. 5) Something that’s never really dwelled upon in the story is that Gojo’s blindfold is also a symbol of his mental alienation. He’s the strongest, and because of that had a very difficult time understanding the plights of the weak. It’s one of the first hints of something the series does very well. Similar to togashi’s works, the series starts out as a somewhat by the numbers shonen, and quickly leads into a much deeper tale philosophically.
I’m shocked at some theories at the end. I don’t want to spoiler so I will just express my shock at pretty damn good theories that will be revealed in season 2! Be excited for it, you guys will have loads of fun, especially because your theories are very very good.
I don’t know how much you know about this, or not, but fun fact; this movie is an adaptation of the original JJK manga. So this stuff happened chronologically before season 1, but it was also made first.

This is a prequel. Not a sequel. Yuta was supposed to be the MC so the story seems very similar to the first few episodes of s1. Then they made yuji the mc.

The Black Flash ins't a technique or ability, to put it in simple terms, it's like a critical hit in a fighting game, everybody can do it and has the potential to do it
I love Jujutsu Kaisen and even I that watched the anime multiple times couldn’t see all the details like the Black Flash Record or the non chocks used by Geto the first time. You are my favorite reactors! Attention to detail 👏🏼
Allow me to give you guys some persepective on how freacking powerfull a special grade sorcerer is (without spoilers obviously) so you guys understand how strong the sorcerers at that level are: First grade is usually the highest ranking for sorcerers but there are very rare cases when people transcend that level, the main reason for that is their cursed technique being extremely powerfull. First grade sorcerers like Toudou, Nanami and Noritoshi Kamo (blood manipulation guy) are strong enough to defeat first grade curses on their own (First grade curses normally being the hightest level curse one encounters) but to defeat a SINGLE special grade curse it needs MULTIPLE first grade sorcerers and most of them will for sure die in that fight, the main reason why most die is because special grade curses always have a domain expansion and you know that among sorcerers almost nobody has one. That being said a special grade sorcerer could fight and defeat MULTIPLE special grade curses by himself. Here's a little more perspective, the moment Megumi learned domain expansion (the absolute peak of sorcery that almost nobody achieves) he became so strong that he surpassed 80% of the sorceres in his time to the point that even first grade sorcerers like Toudou and Nanami STAND NO CHANCE against him. Megumi right now is basically a top elite first grade sorcerer BUT even at that level a single special grade sorcerer can fight and defeat AT LEAST 5 sorcerers of Megumi's level at the same time maybe even more. That's why special grade is called that way because it's extremely rare for both curses and sorceres, even tho sorcery has been happening for centuries there has been ONLY 16 special grade curses.
Some info you guys might have missed about Miguel that was kinda skimmed over in the movie: he wasn't a part of Geto's crew, they just hired him from out of the country to stall Gojo (no one in Japan would probably agree to that since Gojo is famously broken). Guessing Gojo saw he was actually skilled enough to survive in a fight against the strongest and sent Yuta to his country to train since he lost Rika's powers. In season 1 they say Yuta is overseas training
