I bought two, 1kg bars of silver from a guy who owned a house building business. He told me he had 500kg/1102lbs of silver bars on a pallet under security. That was a little deflating, but as they say "don't buy more than you can carry". I have enough silver and some gold, but have been focusing more on being self sufficient and stocking up for rainy days. Thanks for doing the mathematical equations for us. The mind boggles.
That’s an awesome story to hear. I agree. Great you stack. It doesn’t matter what other people have. Only what you have. The fact that your stacking Gold & Silver Bullion is brilliant.
I'm just starting to watch this now but I can already tell you it's not me! 😂 I'm going to concentrate on silver for a while then concentrate on gold after. Awesome video though buddy. I absolutely love the tag line 👌
My 2¢: if you cannot afford 1 ozt of gold, buy silver instead. As your silver stack increases trade it for gold later. That way you will maintain your buying power through silver, and your stack will keep pace with gold prices. In fact, you will probably do better than if you saved up your fiat until the day you could buy that full once of gold. Today's Ag to Au ratio is 79:1. It was 84:1 about 3 weeks ago. Had you been stacking, you would have increased your gold purchasing money by about $100 toward your first ozt of gold just because you bought silver in the recent past. Anything less than one full troy ounce of gold gets crazy expensive due to premiums. Lets say one ounce of gold cost $2000, 4 quarter ounces could cost you $2270, That is for a CML not a Gold Eagle. Lastly, if safe and possible, buy and sell directly from other stackers. Ask your LCS to test the bullion/coins prior to purchase. Maybe "rent" the machine in shop as you check a coin or two. You will save much on premiums.
I will never get 5 kilo, but 500 grams is in my reach and that is my goal for AU Silver on the other hand, there is a problem, ran out of space in the safe, so big dip for gold please
I have a little and I mean little gold but anything is better than nothing 😅 slow and steady, as I started with silver and even then I don’t have much but I’m happy with what I do have no FOMO here just reality
