Everyone talks about treehouse. That album blew the fuck up when it came out. They just haven't done squat since and since has been about 6/7 years now

I love both old and new. Ive been around since the 3D album. Would I prefer a more standard metalcore sound for harsh vocals? Yes, but that doesn't take away from the sheer talent of the band

I love the old stuff and the new. Sure it's not alot of screams, but the vocals themselves are extremely good imo

Well after all this time, at least we finally know relatively when we are getting it. I'm assuming after the next single they will announce the name of the album, the release date, a tour, and pre-orders. Devin said a while ago they recorded 16 songs, so 5 singles before the album sounds about accurate.

Where did you hear the album would be released in spring?

@@Treven_Utter I believe Devin did a live thing before the video came out and someone asked when the album is coming and he said spring time.

@@devilwearsprada2100 I was never under his spell. I think he is a great vocalist, and his screams added some depth, but from what I hear, they made the right choice to remove him from the band. I think without Devin the entire band would crumble and the entire genre would be lesser.

Not necessarily a con. If thats the ISS you like then maybe but its been 10 years since theres bound to be change.

@@Pandumz- I genuinely like their new stuff, I think Devin is one of the best clean vocalists in the scene. They have not lost the passion they had, only a band member. I think ISS is going through a change, and it’s not a bad one.

Listen to new demons album first. Thats better than anything they will ever put out again sadly.

@@renderthevoiid9104 I mean no disrespect but I'll never understand the sentiment behind statements like these. Their older stuff is very different, as with most artists, but music (and all forms of art and expression really) are PURELY subjective. Sure one song can be structurally superior to another song, but that usually doesn't hold much weight in ones opinion. If they like it, they like it. Reasoning is shallow when talking about superiority when it comes to music. Some may find this better than New Demons, some may not. I'm super biased towards New Demons from nostalgia though. So many things that play into our biases, time being a big one.

That's actually a valid point. Also makes me like the song more because twenty one pilots are my favorite non metal band lol

Treehouse is definitely their second best album imo, New Demons n Treehouse r miles above rest of their material

Treehouse is my favorite album. The first two songs they've come back with since then were all I heard so far and was pretty underwhelmed by both of them. Especially anomaly and it's awful leadup to an extremely octane version of a breakdown. This one and the other one they put out I haven't gotten to yet. I look forward to having the time to check em out. If this band peaks with treehouse, it won't surprise me tho

I think treehouse was their best too. It was refreshing and a new direction for the band. I don't feel their new songs so much. Ps I didn't expect to love treehouse when I first heard it.

Really don't get why those specific 'shouts' are in every one of their new singles lately, it comes off like he can't scream but still wants to have a screaming section... which after this song showcasing a real scream is even more silly.

I absolutely adore their music but Devin is 100% an egotist especially after they kicked Zach out the band it’s been quite apparent

@tunics3946 yea that's exactly what I'm saying lol in his eyes the rest of the band doesn't even exist, He's the face of the band. He always looks at the camera like he's trying to seduce it

That's the sad reality in most cases where talent is present. The guy is very clearly insane at what he does, but what taints it is you can tell that he knows it more than anyone else does. I'm still thankful for the music, but fame will do that to a man. His fame is well earned, he's been in the game for quite some time and he does his thing wonderfully, but there's an added sense of self pride that is too great for what it is.
