Its so simple. 1st place: gets 5 pieces 2nd place: 4 pieces 3rd place: 3 pieces 4th place: 2 pieces 5th place: 1 piece of gear. How fuggin hard is that plarium?
They don’t need to change the mechanics of hydra. They just need to add rewards for all five clans and the rewards be base on the placement of the clans. If don’t participate then you don’t get anything. Plain and simple. Remove 5* gear from 1st and second place.
I completly agree, our clan was overshot on hydra by clans where only one guy do damage and its more damage that our whole clan, leaving last two places without rewards is leading to this unhealthy behavior
yes, and yes. hate being beaten by Trunda snipe teams but love my double Trunda team. (even though it only does 1.5b damage and not 15-30 as I see in some screenshots. missing 2x yumeko)
We have to see it from all angles. Not just the big hitters and cheese teams. Half my clan quit playing Hydra due to its mechanics and stupidity. Needed - reduced the toxic cloud to one turn, not two. Fix the match making after a year of bitching. To many times, on day fucking one, one player does more damage than our entire clan ever has...we aren't even getting sniped, literally day one playing for 2/3 is just stupid and demoralizes people. Fix the match making for once. Love the content Skratch !! Disco Disco !!
True the Matchmaking should be fixed first. We had the same issue not just once. I think the Matchmaking shouldnt be from the last 4 clashes, it should be by the max amount the Clan ever done. Then all the Clans that do that gets the same Clans that can do that too as enemys. Yes there might be problems with the Rotations and Affinitys because some are not that friendly like others, but exactly that would make those Players work more on thier teams, when they get Clans that are at the same dmg range.
First thing is the rewards. There should be rewards for places 1 through 5. Some people including Plarium want to tip toe around the Trunda issue. Yes, it's an issue when one champion can do more damage than an entire clan. She's the only champion capable of doing this. Trunda is broken, and has been for a long time. It just so happens that Hydra works to the advantage of her broken skill. They were quick to fix Cadaver and Madman, but won't fix (not nerf FIX) Trunda because she is a legendary, or because she has little use in the game due to all the power creep Plarium has introduced. A broken skill for a champion is a broken skill. It doesn't matter if it's a rare or legendary. Fix them just like you did the others. Then this massive issue goes away. Plarium was also under the crazy impression that you needed to have double yumeko or other high end champions to make this team. Well, that's not true either. Sure, the double Yumeko teams do even crazier damage, but you don't need even one Yumeko to get billions of damage from Trunda. Just shows how little they actually monitor the Hydra teams. Anyway, my point is this long rant is that they should have fixed Trunda's A2 a long time ago. It's painfully obvious that Trunda is the key problem in Hydra Clash. Stop waiting and making excuses. Just fix the problem.
Exactly the problem, they need to fix Trunda. Then everyone will be in the same boat and have to just do the best they can with teams the way they're suppose to be. Same thing with yannica wixwell. Or any other cheese team. And to "fix" double yumeko problem it's easy make it to where you cant pick duplicate champs like in gold live arena problem solved no need to nerf her
@@PandaPoe1 if they fix trunda the double Yumeko is no longer an issue. Even Wixwell and Yannica are not a real problem. People have traditional teams that are capable of a couple billion damage. That about where the Yannica and Wixwell team sits. So, not much of a concern. They could just set a Hydra game mode rule that states shields can't be grown more than XX amount.
Basically, all easy fixes to put in place. It's a matter of Platinum not wanting to do it. I'm not sure why though. The game mode is far from fair or balanced.
I’m cool with Trunda staying the same… but seriously blows not getting that chest with primal pieces. That’s the only way I can really get primals really… plus the accessories are nice.
I have the solution for all those difficulty multipliers BS, get rid of them, do 3 clashes 1 for each key for each difficulty, or even better add one more key, shorten turn limit to 1000, and then everyone can participate in normal hard brutal and NM clashes, each have their own rewards just like each difficulty has own rewards. if people want they can do clashes for two using just two keys...
Another solution is to have damage segments when reached, it doesn't matter how much more you are above, you reached the max amount of points you can contribute to. Ex: You have a max of 5 stars you can contribute to to reach the 1st star, you need to be able to get to 1mil, second star, 3 mil, third star 7mil etc, with higher increments between stars and a hard cap in stars depending on what level of hydra you are hitting. If you have some guilds being tied at the end, then you have a tie breaker calculated by the time you took to reach your full set of stars. This would allow smaller players to have some importance in this competition and penalize guilds that have a lot of unactive players.
Hydra and champs are fine as is! If they wanna make a Ultra Nightmare Hydra difficulty with some changes, like “all heads spawn with 1 turn poison cloud” or something, then so be it. What NEEDS to change, is the Clash Rewards system!!!! Make it to where clash is 5 clans…but 150 places…30 clanmates times 5 clans. The top damage dealer gets 1st place and 150 points…2nd overall damage dealer from all clans get’s 2nd spot which earns 149 points 3rd place 148 points all the way down…and then add all the points that each clan member got, and whichever Clan got the most points gets 1st place chest…etc.
One of the biggest issues also is that you reach a point where making your teams better literally doesnt matter unless its a trunda team, essentially killing the game mode. Ive personally worked on my hydra teams for the last couple of months to do 1b each on Brutal and Nightmare and it doesnt really make a difference. All it takes is one averagely built trunda team to do a whole clan's worth of damage.
Loved the video skratch, i would have loved to have paid more attention but unfortunately im doing one my 3 2 hour long hydra keys in preperation of being eclipsed by a trunda team that does full auto and 10x my clans damage in one key. gee i do wish they'd update that so i wouldn't feel so bad about putting so much effort into my hydra keys to get out done by one champion because of such a silly bug. it would be so much less demotivating and make hydra so much more fun! anyway., have a good one skratch!
Here's how I think they can fix Hydra and make it 100% better. First have rewards for all five clans everyone should get something, but have them capped. You get points by how many team members in your clan beat a hydra level and how many keys they use and so on. Now the fun begins your clan finished first and y'all won the first chest but wait now here's where the total damage takes place and comes into count there's 30 places in each 5 group tiers and you get chest by your total damage you do 1-30 once your clan finishes.
Totally agree. 500 turns max on hydra. Makes no sense to me who thought 1500 turns and 1- 1.5 hrs per key with 3 per week was a good idea? A certain way to burn your players out for sure! I hate the stupid time sink.
I was thinking about stopping playing Hydra and I was also thinking about advising my clanmates as well. My clan and one other clan were solo'd by 1 player in Hydra clash, and yes Trunda was in the team but it wasn't a Trunda team.
The heads need a 1 turn cooldown when they respawn. I'm tired of losing because I can't get a provoke or block debuffs out in time or having to play it on auto everytime heads are killed to save those abilities in case it spawns. Would also be nice to know ahead of time which head is going to spawn in so we can plan accordingly.
I hope that they don't buff the Hydra boss into oblivion to fix the clash issues. I just made a team that allows me to qualify for the clash, and if I can't after the update, I will be pissed.
I'm F2P and struggled for months to create a team (i share a lot of champs between content) and now that I have one, I don't have the resources to make another one as I am trying to build a UNM clan boss team atm.
For Hydra - how about a simple statistical bell curve? Those who are not yet able to really contribute don't fully ruin it for the clan and sit in the first quartile, those who're doing obscene amounts of damage are encouraged to calm down while being in the fourth quartile, while the average players make up the 2nd and 3rd quartiles. Then, the mean average of one clan can be compared to the mean average of another clan, and victors are chosen based on the mean average performance of the WHOLE clan, and not just one or two clan members. There's no need to nerf, or have special gimmicks to change the challenge.
For me is a manual hydra key around 2h of work. So 3 keys are around if you have to restart a match once or twice after 30m or more a complete work day of my job. A day of work where I earn money to pay my bills feed the family etc. and what do you get three 5 star atk amulets. This relation of time and rewards are out of this world.

It should be 5 star rewards for the first chest, the second chest should contain 5 and 6 stars, and the best chest only 6 star artifacts! For example in the altar of souls, you can buy souls for soulessences, but only for leggos, epics, and rares, and since plarium added mythicals, they should change the soul market, and add also mythical souls, but they shouldnt be cruel again and add mythical souls for 40 or 60 soulessences, but 30, however, mythical souls are missing, trunda is missing, and many more!*
I have struggled getting that 35M and have only reached it a handful of time and only 3 times when I did reach it did we place in the top 3. this last one I did my best of 47M and we came in last. I know there are weeks I don't even do it at all because of this factor why do I put so much time and enough in it gets me no rewards in the end. Lady Valkiry
Sintranos / DT / Hydra are the most fun game modes in this game currently IMO EDIT to say I sell ALL 5 star gear Legendary and below on my account which is only a 14 mil account
What do you mean? If you are limited to 500 you are still going to lose to Trunda teams on the same way. Trunda deals 2 x less but you deal 2x less as well.
Plarium should not nerf a single champion. It should be the general mechanics of hydra. Players already invested on their champions. Its unfair if they change the champions.
everonye getting rewards instead only top 3 would take a developer like 2 hours at most. I think plarium just wants to milk the whales a bit more before implementing the change
Hydra needs to be nerfed even more than Iron Twins, Sand Devil, and Phantom Shogun. Only one person in my clan (the clan leader) even earns any prizes from Hydra!
Hell, I'm still trying to get the champions to even have the ability to do Hydra after 2. Years of f2p and they keep adding more and more champs which deleting the chances to get anything good not to mention other shards that 10 times worse 😂😂😂
Plarium doesn't care if it's fair. Plarium is about money and fair don't pay the bills honey. Competition, this is not a competition, who can open their wallet the farthest is not competition. You want to try and be somewhat fair, one simple change, no duplicate champs in the same battle. Limit a team to one Yumeko and at least things get slightly better, but only slightly.

Easy fix. Need to change the scoring and scale it. They are NOT going to nerf champions so that is a wasted discussion and they are too slow to react to this anyway. Scoring adjustments fix all teams forever and no other changes would be needed.
playing for 4 years now nd i´m close to quitting raid is basicly a chore without any advancement left if they don´t bring nice pve features i dont think theres anything left for me.. Sadge
Yep , nerf Trunda and let the mythicals take over.. then is going to be a whale only territory. Its easier to pull a trunda than a toshiro , gharol or even a teox...

I only want balance… she is absolutely absurd… idc if they balance her to hit mythical numbers… her a2 was bugged before in arena, and now it’s ruining hydra clash… our clan highest can only get 3 billion points for 3 keys… if one champ can easily destroy that/ the entire team not right.
@@benbroll9491 its been a long time since clash... why not trying to get her if she's so good in hydra? There's been many events for her... just save the shards untill she pops up on a 15x event and go for it...
@@bogdangonczy9107 love these types of comments 😂 yes I would love to spend tones of money to get a broken champ… this is almost saying, wait you don’t have every mythical in the game there has been 2x primals… 15x means nothing where there is hundreds of champs in the game… been playing for 4 years and I finally pulled duchess and I pulled on every 10x/every 15x… when I got her it was a random sacred shard.
that's something i don't understand in the end game why are you giving us 5* rare from UNM/NM CB & Brutal/NM Hydra? OR even in Hard Mode Dungeons 5* & RARE gear SHOULD NOT be there AT ALL
Sadly I must disagree with you on the pairing system. It's exactly the same as the regular CvC. I don't know how many times my clan would be obliterating the other team, then just 1 person on the other team would spend money, and earn more points the double of my and the rest of his team combined. The problem is how we are begging to nerf these champions in order to stop these billions of damages. Honestly as soon as we do that, then another broken combo will take control and we'll beg to have that one nerfed, then the next, and the next. And the people it's hurting the most is the non krakens. Sadly, I don't think there's nothing they can really do to fix Hydra Clash. Just leave it as it is, and un nerf all the champs they already nerfed. Give everyone a chance and let the Krakens experience the pain of F2P. And if they want a nerf. Nerf Yumeko. She's a much harder champ to get compared to Trunda, and she can deal so much more damage with her reset ability. Trunda would have to wait a few turns, having 2 Yumekos resets the ability, would make sense to go after her then the nuker. Otherwise Trunda will be a Vault guardian just like Septimus.
i don’t see it ever be fixed. matchmaking is so bad. i am just waiting for them to see if trunda gets nerfed to the ground so i can destroy my end game account. if trunda is not the best nuker by far after rebalance i am done with them killing all our teams (cadaver, madman etc etc) i think its time for them to play their game mode alone 😂. clash is so boring same as siege. i don’t want to pay for their unfinished releases anymore saying things aren’t supposed like this or that to be.
I disagree, with the "this need to change ASAP", yes it needs to change, but its more important they take their time and do it right, instead of throwing something half finished outthere. Just look at how terrible Siege is, it feels like they have only done 90% of the job, when they released it, and now it got a terrible interface, no place to communicate, no real arena rating, its feels like a beta version of a game mode, that perhap will be fixed in 6 month.
