My take is this: I hesitate to get my hopes up for this game because of the obvious track record of other games in the genre, but MAN. If we could get a nice optimized dino game, that is genuinely fun to play, AND led by a GOOD team of devs... My life would be complete.

I hope in the future there is 2 factions of humans, one is like rangers who keep balance of nature and one is like poachers who killing everything they see, or capture them to sell them. And sometimes they wage war on each others with the help of dino around them thats loyal to their factions. That would be cool

When you were wandering around that foggy forest at 13:30, it made me hope they add azhdarchid pterosaurs playables to the game. Imagine being a tribal wandering around in that foggy forest, and one of the "trees" lunges out at you or starts chasing you. Would be scary, but cool af

Okay the environment, the humans and the tino as well are equally beautifully made The physics oön the dino is amazing! You can see how big and heavy the big ones were.

OMG I don't know why I never considered proximity chat for a dino game ( for humans) that just brings so much more life and laughs into the game I really hope they consider doing it. Demo looks really good so far!

I like what I see so far with minimal complaints that are just focused around personal taste for design of the creatures. Hopefully this game can really take off and give us a breath of fresh air from the often redundant mechanics of similar games.

Well, Islander is one of the devs. So i bet that HE wouldnt give a f*ck about hate comments n stuff. Hope this wont go to f8ck its self like the rest of dino games. Lets remember, this game looks so f8cking great just in around 10 months and the isle after 8 years of development hasnt decided about the nightvision or lighting.

So first off, Eocarcharia is a real dino, it's part of the Carcharadontosaurids so it's the family branch of Arcocanthosaurus, Carcharadontosaurus and Giganotosaurus. 20-27ft long. So it should look like em! The game looks very smooth for it to be 8 months of dev time. in UE5 no less. So there's a lot going for it so far and it's very larval. I would want the devs to take their time with the game and not rush to push stuff. I want them to make sure it's stable and clean before they go pushing craziness out there. That's all I hope for as this little tech demo (technically) is REALLY clean and it's very early. Polish is the word I am looking for, as long as the devs polish which it looks like they are? I can see this game doing work.

It looks pretty good for a game that's not released. I'm hopeful that Islanders support will push this forward more than it otherwise would. I thought it looked weird to begin with and couldn't put my finger on it until your video. The landscape looks like it was made by someone whose never been outside. The beach areas stand out most, in this respect. I'm sure they'll get better.

i noticed the footprints dont plant well on uneven terrain and make the dino look light because of it, and the prints are too dark imo

I really just want an Isle game, not arcadey like PoT or unrealistic combat like BoB, but Isle. I just genuinely hate the Isle devs and the game is OK but they make horrible decisions, the overall gameplay is skillless, and the server lag has killed me more than everything else combined. I just wish they would actually put effort into the Isle but honestly I'm ready for a change and EoE looks and sounds very promising so far.

idk i hope they dont rush things. even tho isle is slow as hell. i would rather have em take there time like what the isle is doing but a little faster. cause if they do it too fast things will break and cause issues. so they got to be careful if they want to become a rival to isle
