This New Extraction Game is Hard - The Forever Winter 

LOL , so many angry comments talking about "skill issue" and game is not hard. This was my first few hours playing, just using the basic free rat loadout to learn the game. I thought a death montage would be funny but apparently I'm supposed to be a pro already. I know you should stealth to avoid fights , and me calling the game hard was a compliment not a complaint. I had plenty of good raids , just thought this would be entertaining. Sorry to fail all the 10,000 hour pros in a 2 day old game xD

hours 1 -5 F around and find out hours 6 - 10 ok im getting the hang of it hours 11 - 20 parkour, speedrunning, and starting fights just to watch the war.

The game has potential, but needs some serious polish

i really like this game so far, about 15 hours in its pretty fun both solo and with a friend

we've been needing a pve extraction shooter for a while now, this has the best potential ive seen for a long time

Idk why but the quick deaths remind me of old stalker games where you'd run into a mutant when least expected and it'd one hit you lol

Game gets alot more "managable" if you start upgrading your own guns with silencer and bigger mags.

been having a good time with this with a friend. its buggy af and needs a lot of work, but damn they nailed the vibe. really great atmosphere. gets a little better with upgraded traders and better weapons, Suppressors help a LOT. going to watch this development closely, if they clean this up it could be a real gem.

The problem people have with this game is that they have been conditioned to be the main character, mowing through legions of npcs with nothing but their wit and a trusty gun/whatever. In this game, you are the npc just desperately trying to survive

After the constant death it does get better you get pretty op in the later stage :D

It gets so much better once you learn how to deal with the enemies and get better guns I’m having such an awesome time with it I don’t care its janky af right now its only gonna get better! Hope you keep playing brother!

Me and my buddy get 40 kills a piece on scrapyard. I’m old man and use the M4 or RPK. He uses the “Painless” HMG you get from a quest and it spits out 50 which melts even brawlers. The game gets a lot easier once your kitted up.

This game is pretty fun. Still trying to find the objectives when I’m running contracts. I think the longest I’ve been in a match was like 15 min looking for EXO pilot.

11:36 probably discovered by now but accidentally drank you alcohol which messed w/ your aim. Very funny video! Also, in that last clip I think you were being hunted by a hunter killer, but i honestly have no clue how the robots saw you initially ( maybe there was another closeby or you made a sound?) but in my experience HK's ALWAYS choose the absolute WORST time to engage you to the point where Im just immediately extracting now when i get the notification they've been deployed lol. Was sneaking through Elephant Hangar with a patrol in front of me when an HK decides now is best time to flank me from behind. Between the patrol and HK i was completely melted bruh

I would like to let you know, the arm sway you complained about wasn't because you were getting hit. You accidentally used alcohol to heal which causes your character to sway and be all wobbly for like 15 to 30 seconds. Not me making an angry comment or anything of the sort, just letting you know if you haven't read the alcohol description yet in game or figured it out yet from it maybe happening a few time.

And in 15:23 the Europan troop was using radio right by you along with his footstep getting closer; this is just you not paying attention; tho the footstep volume should be increased a bit; about 20% the current

I could be wrong but I think that the AI was super agro on you due to your poor reputation with each faction as they've been far more forgiving for me so far. That said, thanks for sharing. Your content never fails to get a laugh.

I love what I've seen from this game when people play it the way intended. I do feel like the world needs to be a tiny bit more "open." The maps tend to funnel, and it takes away a little bit of the excitement of being able to scirry away and hide. I feel like world design, kind of like what Helldivers has, would really benefit this game.

My brother and I have this game on lockdown. 100+ days of water and I dont even pick it up anymore, quests give me enough.

a death montage is an unexpected choice, i saw some odd moments but also some very recognizable ones, but you did keep coming back for more. Just, tell me there were also some successes between the deaths and it wasn't just constant deaths.

premise reminds me of a level in syphon filter (2?) that you were between two warring factions engaged in battle and you had various objectives to complete, i replayed the shit out of it as a kid and it reminds me a lot of that generally. cant wait to try it out for myself

I started playing earlier yesterday and have finished 3-4 quests. It’s early on and excited to see what this dev team pulls off!

Can develop in something great...but right now it seems to bee a little bit hadr...if i would be a starter, i would kick this game after 5 minutes...

Kotton your forever winter video is pretty different from other videos cause you look like youre just playin around and having fun i like it. Other videos take it too serious and they roleplay too much imo.

So first thing you do, get rid of the baby ak even pistols are better, if you can get a suppressor, and you can xan run through areas whe enemies are distracted they'll even ignore you as you brush them if there enemies for them to engage, at some point you will be able to run mostlt free once you get used to it

All I saw was Kotton having a blast. He took it with a fair amount of grace tbh. The game can be unforgiving but so fun.

Looting system is crap 💩 And 3p to 1p shooting is Lame. Just stick with 3p.

It took me like 10-15 tries to finish the third quest. It never felt like a chore. Just pure fun.

Once u guys get a better rig and can hold a turret and ied as well as having decent weapons the game is much easier when fighting use cover etc

It is hard! It gets a lot easier after say 2-3h of gameplay, but you can still get swarmed or one tapped pretty easily. That said, I am absolutely loving this game and it's the most fun I've had in years. It's not finished, but what's there already is so, so good. I recommend playing most of the levels solo just to take it all in. Then play with friends and it changes up the power dynamic.

18 minutes of getting screwed for how many hours you played ? Im 12 hours in right now and taking my time and learning how to play one run at a time and having a ball its not a game for everyone, thats for sure, but its a hell of a fun time if it is
