I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm really glad they're adding in more security and verification checks for creating accounts. I think more people should follow suit. If getting banned and creating a new account only takes moments, then its honestly not much of a deterrent.

@@Alecfisher01 Doesn’t matter if I really believe, it’s just my speculation on what I have seen. They can do what they want or need to with their game. If they do, great! If not, then it’s not like I lost anything other than not playing the 1 to 3 games of R6 I play a day. In the end though, I’d love to see this game make a turnaround.
It's important to remember, that's cheaters caught, not all cheaters. We had a game where the cheater on our team walled and caused the other team to DDOS. I submitted clips and nothing happened because we faced him again a few weeks later. Also, these stats could all be made up to as well. Think about the timing of every "Anti-cheat" update blog, it's always scheduled around a new event. One where they want people to come back to buy their packs. It's all fluff bullshit.
there's also a bug on console (i dont know how long it's been a thing) where in, if your controller disconnects seemingly at any point in a loading screen once you're in a lobby, you wont be able to move or look around or use any buttons until you restart your game and rejoin the lobby. not sure if ubisoft is aware of it, i hope so.
Still happens to this day sometimes and I haven't even played for the past 2 seasons, just got friends always reporting and making fuss (which is why I stopped playing, tired of all fuss)
Yeah I've had this problem quiet a few times my controller batteries die it put new ones in or put it on the charger and then I cant move or do anything so I have to reload the game. I've also experienced a new bug recently where I can't talk in the ingame chat and eventually all of my sound goes away, it's so weird.
Ever since this new season me and some of my buddies have been getting kicked for inactivity even tho we've been moving the whole game/round not sure if it's an old bug or new bug
It’s way easier to prove someone is racist than cheating. Even if someone gets incredibly impossible kills their team won’t believe it but if someone repeatedly says racial slurs many will agree they are a racist or have ‘dark humour’
@@thomasholmes3303 I didn't say that at all. If someone says the n word in chat, everyone can see it. In the case of cheating The whole game will only know if one team tells them or they see it when speccing
Interesting this was the topic of the video. I was getting "frozen" in place last night and thought it was due to the network. I may need to review my replays to see when in game it happened.
There is also an all chat exploit going around where they can crash your game which I believe has a similar effect on players. So keep all chat off just in case. You probably did just run into one of these cheaters though.
Correct me if I'm wrong however, if you actually go back to 22:04 and play at .5 or .25 speed, he half zooms in and it actually locks on to the kali's head. I believe you missed this.
R6 needs to implement stronger HWID bans. Warzone probably has the strongest and deepest HWID bans of any game right now and spoofers get detected pretty often as they add more and more HWID flags. Currently, BattlEye/R6 only bans hard drive/ssd serial numbers which is incredibly easy to spoof and bypass (128gb ssds are extremely cheap)
Sadly I feel this too little too late. At least for me rainbow six siege had some of the worse cheating problems I had seen in multiplayer games. The only other one would be warzone and I stopped playing that one too. For now I will just stick to watching content about the game than playing it.
It doesn't matter if they are banned after they ruin the match, they'll just make another account. The damage is already done, the integrity of the game is ruined and that drives players away. they need to either stop them from getting the cheats which is impossible, or implement an IP ban system or some other way to stop people from making endless accounts.
It's funny you say how easy it is to circumvent then mention IP banning which is the least effective banning method. Turning off and on your modem resets the IP and circumvents the ban. Like they mentioned in their post, they need to (and are currently working on) ways to prevent hackers from coming back. Hopefully it's not something easily avoidable like IP or HWID bans

One cheater we got on our team was just chilling and telling us everything about cheating. Now, take all of this with a grain of salt because he is a cheating bitch. He told us he cheats because he's bored of the game. He has a setup spoofer to make sure he can never be DDOS'd and never be banned. If he thinks he will be banned he also deactivates the account and it stops Ubisoft from being able to ban him. If he wants he pulls new accounts that have nonactive or old emails that aren't used anymore. If you ever play against Sinnr. he is a cheater and also uses the cheater Discord to get cheaters to boost his "legit accounts". That was told to us by this cheater and then another cheater a few games later. Lastly, he's been cheating for 3 years and only had one of his accounts banned. That's insane.
A way to cheat on Stadia would be if something were to interupt the game launching and you were able to access the desktop. When GEForce Now was in Beta I managed to access command prompt, so I assume someone could download a hack if they were able to access the browser.
I love how they talk about smurf accounts, yet they don't give two shits of their terms of use. The terms of use has a section that says: "2.5 Multiple Accounts. You must not create multiple accounts, except if we specifically allow it. In such case, you acknowledge that you will close your additional Account upon our request, or that we may terminate your additional Account." I did one test and reported one person that has like 5 different accounts directly to the Ubisoft support. The case was taken under investigation, but none of the accounts was banned as the investigation ended and the case was closed.

I can't imagine how frustrating it is to play with cheaters in this absolute toxic game. Started playing siege a couple weeks ago, all the matches I get are friendly fire braindeads, afks, smurfs and other situations when it's not fun at all. Thank goodness I bought it on Ps store sale. Just love watching him play, smooth and clean 👌

Just FYI, I’ve seen a few times we’ve been confused about how players don’t show up in R6 tracker or Tom stats and I don’t know if you know but it is possible for people to hide their accounts from showing up in the results as both sites offer that feature. They should still show up in Ubisofts tracker though.

Man I left the game for about 4 weeks and came back to play some quick casual matches, found hackers the first two games I played. The game is sadly not fun anymore.
They should implement some sort of feature that does ban waves at the end of every week, say 11:59 PM on a Saturday the ban wave hits, so then when the cheaters get banned they’ll only be able to cheat for at most a week before getting banned again if detected, and then a massive one that runs pretty much the 24 hours of the 30th/31st of every month. It may seem a bit much but it could keep cheaters from being as prolific as they seem to be.
it wasnt acheat to freeze all players, that was the chat crash glitch so it freezes their game for approximately 30 secs and they have time to runout and get free kills (to prevent turn all chat off) also i might be wrong but with the 2nd guy cant you just get cheats and plug in a controller?

Fr reporting is worthless. I haven't had a rollback in like 6 months and that's laughable considering how many cheaters have been playing the last few months.
I ran into a guy named “Sinnr” yesterday, and I just talked to him. Cause I knew he was blatantly cheating, I asked him why and he said he was bored of siege and the state of it. Another thing I asked was how long he’s been doing it for, and he told me almost 4 YEARS. He also told me that he spoofs accounts or something which means he can get any account that no longer has an active email. This dude said something after that though that completely changed my mind about Ubisoft banning cheaters. This man told me he built his own anti cheat system to work on his computer instead of using Battleye. Which he basically said he can “never get banned” as much as I hope this guy is lying, I unfortunately believe him because he’s been doing this for 4 years.

Ubi has this weird trend of putting games out and making them better after the fact, like with Breakpoint and For Honor. Sometimes they just get it right like with Black Flag.
I’m 80% sure I was frozen in an Xbox match yesterday, on favela a guy entered the room, I was crouched could not exit the crouch after like 4 attempts, or pan to line him up I’m hardwired to the modem, wired controller, and 9 - 17 ping
Yea I think it’s everywhere. Yesterday or the day before I was playing on PS4 and froze once or twice for like five or ten seconds before being killed. I thought it was just the R6 servers being shit. I guess not.
So, as a Stadia user, I'm kinda curious to know how it's possible to cheat on there, considering you don't have any access to the game files. I can kinda see aimbot being possible, in theory, but not walls. Does anyone have any insight into this? Also to confirm, yes; you can use mouse and keyboard on Stadia.
I'm still unsure whether it is indeed a stadia hack or not. Using controller on PC with hacks doesn't really make any sense, but if you can use MnK on Stadia then I don't get why they'd use a controller. Without being able to determine 100% whether someone is a stadia user or not, we probably will never know.

I'm very curious to know how something like that would even be possible, given the lack of access to the game files. As for MnK, and assuming it was a Stadia user, they're likely playing on their television using the Chromecast Ultra. You can only use a MnK if you're playing on a computer of some kind, via the Chrome browser. I have a few ideas on how walls could work on Stadia, but I can't imagine someone actually built a program capable of doing it. Basically, it'd be like how aimbot would work. You'd make a program that analyzes what you're seeing, and have it move the crosshair automatically based strictly on visual data. If it sees an enemy, it reacts to it at inhuman speeds. A wall hack could take audio and visual data, and more or less predict where the person is. I don't know how accurate that would be, and I doubt anyone has actually made a program that does that. But I mean, it could be possible?
@@VarsityGaming I just searched the Stadia player base for anyone with that name, and the account doesn't seem to exist. So unlikely to be a Stadia user. Can't really view Luna's stuff, so that's still possible. But we can pretty confidently rule Stadia out.
Well hopefully Ubi will keep there word and get rid of some of these cheaters, it's so annoying when a good chunk of my matches are ruined by cheaters or smurfs. I also just don't understand the mindset of these people like is it really that fun to ruin everyone's game. I encounter a cheater with a strike pack the other day, I could tell because they could teabag super fast and got a 5k right away. There movements were way to smooth so I confronted them about it and they said they only use it to teabag. Like why would you even have it in the first place if you weren't cheating. I still doubt they'll get banned but I did report them, it's just so annoying honestly.
@@fallshimjager1 its basically just a cheating device that can provide things like aimbot/assist, movement that even PC players couldn't do, walls, and a ton of other cheats that give players a unfair advantage.

I believe Chris' comments were in jest, it's not a nod to the series in particular, but Chris was acting as if it were, honestly it would have been nice for ubi to outright say, "Thanks to members of the community such as VarsityGaming" but since Chris refuses to go to any early playtests due to tight constraints and little leniency, it wouldn't surprise me if they never reference him outside of the in-game charm.

I cant really seem to have fun playing seige been playing for 2 years now on console even playing casual i usually que up against plat stacks kinda sucks seeing strikepacks and mnk on console because at that level of play its almost every match i come across i shouldn't have to 5 stack to have the slightest bit of fun also i dont know if its true but casual may have skill based matching due to there being a ranking system for casual where it clearly doesnt belong .
If ubi really wants the cheaters rate to drop, they need to ban the ip adress of the cheater not just the account it’s so easy and affordable for them tu purchase another account that they don’t give a shit if they are ban or not. Also bans need to be for a longer period not just like a little tap on the wrist for few days or a week ban it’s useless
I'm pretty sure aimbot is possible on stadia, but that'd be a third party screen scanner type of deal. Walls on the other hand; I have no idea. I don't see that being possible unless there's some sort of elit3 h4xor server hacks going on.
