Seeing the signs and that remind me of the "The daylight owl" series, mainly when they enter the abandoned village. Just something about playing a world that's meant to be new, and then it isn't. Also maybe this was an excuse to talk about an underrated series.... but tbh I have yet to see anything that did as good as they did
1:36 I actually started playing Minecraft after watching Stampy and Squid play it! I still remember watching their "Feed The Beast" videos and their "The Infected Temple" video! The version of Minecraft I started with was originally MCPE: Lite back in 2012, and then I started to play a lot more when my mom let me have her Ipad! (At that point, MCPE had gotten the terracotta blocks.) But recently, I've not been playing MCPE / Bedrock Edition as much lately as I've instead switched over to playing Java edition! Been working on some TARDIS interiors on Java Edition as of late, wish I could send photos through RU-vid sometimes so I could show the progress I've been making! (Most recent addition was sounds. This means when you pull the "throttle" lever, it'll start playing some sound effects that are made to sound like the TARDIS is in "flight"!)
This is really cool. I'm surprised no one mentioned that it's a direct reference to "Snapshot Null" with the abandoned buildings with signs and red infection being taken from the video "3w21a". I wonder if EBALIA was involved with that series or just inspired by it.
The only thing that turns me off for this mod is the sudden eye thing that popped up and killed you. Getting jumped by some invincible foe isn't scary. It's just annoying. Other than that, this is cool.
no way... a minecraft horror mod that isn't a cave dweller? thank you for appearing in my recommended edit: this is a mod right? if not I will feel very saddened :(
Alternate Reality Game. An interactive story where the story makers interact with the audience and the audiences participation can determine what happens in the story next. The original Ben Drowned story was an ARG, the audience discovered ocarina songs to play to learn more about the lore and resolve the plot. As they told the game what songs to play the creators would upload entire videos in response to audience participation. ARG as a word is heavily abused now just like analog horror. This mod clearly isn't an arg unless there's a massive piece of the puzzle missing. It's like calling tofu wagyu beef XD Still the mod looks sick and really interesting
@@stereotypical01 what do you mean by the cobblestone area? maybe not the best place to ask but what does this mod add exactly? just 2 creatures that sometimes show up and flood the chat or what?
First look at the mod... 1: Attack speed / damage did not exist in alpha minecraft 2: Neither did the crafting book 3: I'm pretty sure custom skins didn't either 4: wtf is that screen effect 5: Achievements did not exist either in alpha 6: Neither did mutton
@@stereotypical01 dude you are already perfect, just don't mention anything being scripted so anyone on pc doesn't see that it is beacuse of your bio. You are a really amazing RU-vidr overall though ❤️
@@Sedus_gamer People really need to know if stuff is scripted in Minecraft, there is a general cheating/lying problem with content involving it. If it wasn't mentioned it was scripted at all people will assume cheating, dislike the video, and block the creator. A smaller creator can literally be doomed by your suggestion.
