fun fact, the apple of sodom does, in fact, look like the game's sprite and is described as a hollow fruit that contains only seeds inside that gives the appearance of an apple/delicious fruit but instead is actually poisonous which makes the in game effect of giving you a 50/50 chance to spawn blue spiders on a red heart pickup make a lot more sense
