I mean… it’s getting nerfed. That’s how Tanki works. Make augments overpowered then nerf them then make them legendary.

I believe that even with a Scorpion module of 50 it is impossible to survive 16 missiles.

@@edmardisla8492 tbh not really anything, you can group with clanmates easily and theres a clan chat. They used to give you free access to pro battles but that's really it. I just like the tags they give

EMP Scorpion applies it on crits and rockets without penalty. Pulsar has reduced crit, does not apply effects with rockets and the actual crit damage is slashed. That should make the choice quite obvious, unless entire enemy team is immune to EMP.

@@xb6xx Well, Swarm will still be faster in both release and delivery, and will work in close quarters; but it's true that both Tornado and Spear make it less desirable. It's somewhat of a middle-ground between them, and well... "mid" is not a desirable trait for your equipment to have, is it? Hehe.

Scorpion was kinda balanced before the new augments, but yeah, I do agree that the new augments are broken.

@@snomgangscorch9557 It was never balanced, it was just less deadly. You get missiles and you don't even know where they come from, they can attack stealthily, quick aim and cannon that does 1300 damage. Ridiculous turret.

@@K-kof2000 That's a fair point, however, you can make the same argument for gauss. But referring to scorpion, you already run protection for it, so the damage is already heavily reduced, no matter how much protection you have. If you have crisis, the missiles are almost completely invalidated, because, you use double armor, and a well times repair kit, it's almost impossible to die to scorpion. If you DONT have crisis, (let's just say brutis) it's less likely you survive, but still possible. Any other drone, it's pretty difficult to survive (other than lifeguard it's ez to live off the repair lol) for the tornado augment (I think that's what it's called) again, it's almost completely invalidated by prot+double armor+crisis. push comes to shove, the turn around trick does not work well with things like fb, freeze, tesla, hammer, things like that. Or, just run gauss, ares, you always survive the missiles with a repair kit.

@@snomgangscorch9557 False, Scorpion can activate covertly and you won't know exactly where it came from to fight back, unlike Gauss who creates a beam of light and you can know the direction of the shot. That is, if you survive Scorpion, you probably won't be able to fight back. Scorpion fires several missiles and also has a very strong cannon, which can be used in sequence to finish the target, you can have 50% protection but then you get a critical hit and you die anyway, you can have Armadillo, but this module it's too expensive for most players, you can have Crysis, but so can he. Anyway, Scorpion attacks very efficiently and it's not hard to see Scorpion players with very high KD in battle. So your argument is invalid.

Striker is a different debate, but referring to scorpion, again, if you have crisis, and if it is around the same level as your opponent, you basically negates the extra damage. (stats for nerds) Initial crit chance: 3% (chance after spawning) Chance step: 0% (chance increase after each shot) Max chance: 3% Consecutive chance: 0% (chance of getting it multiple times in a row) Damage boost: 18% While the chances are low it's likely you'll die from the crit. Again, IF it doesn't crit, you can live with a very well timed repair kit, you can comfortably survive the missiles. I will admit, that if you run a light or medium hull, it's much harder to live that, but the same argument can be made for striker, if you get locked onto, it's nearly impossible to live, but you rarely get locked onto by striker (unless it's the stun augment) But otherwise, the crits don't happen often enough for those to be taken into account. Unless you have any other arguements for why scorpion is overpowered, (or anyone reading this for that matter) I think this is closed.

true, till 2018 when Kasim was dev this game seems balanced but now, you can have 9999 GS on lieutant rank, im a f2p one on legend 7 and my max GS is 9500 after 900 hours of active upgrading modules without speeding up, that's is hillarous and also mind blowing, how this game is p2w

@@siwy482 your argument is not even an argument. 1st of all, the game is way less p2w than it used to be, so much so that even as a completely f2p player... - you no longer need a whole life time worth of grinding countless hours everyday just to rank up *ONCE* or to gather enough crystals to upgrade your tank at all (heck even product kits are balanced in nowadays economy). - paints are now completely cosmetic and separate from protections. - most skins/paints are now much easier to obtain, meaning that you usually have multiple opportunities to do so - you now have actual dynamic protections (meaning they're not a fixed percentage or stuck to a specific paint) that you can u swap around and upgrade individually just like you do with your tank - product kit's are no longer a must buy as you gain both crystals and exp at a much higher rate. - supplies are way easier to obtain to the point you can stack them up without spending a single crystal besides the daily 95% off 30x from the shop and the list goes on... 2nd, the fact that you said *"im a f2p one on legend 7 and my max GS is 9500 after 900 hours of active upgrading modules without speeding up"* and *"you can have 9999 GS on lieutant rank"* and somehow you still think the game is very p2w clearly shows how little your understanding of the truly game is. you have way more hours played than me, way more than half of the tanki players even, yet your understanding of the game is less than half of mine. (if u want 9999 GS you need a bare minimum of marshal rank) as a matter of fact i started playing tanki in 2011 and quit when drones first came out as the game at that point in time became completely unplayable for f2p players like you and me. i only came back to tanki last year right after the tanki birthday event. at that point i was *lieutenant colonel* and barely had *3k GS* using my best combo with a drone with 0 upgrades and barely any supplies left. i am now currently legend 1, about to hit legend 2 and i already have maxed hunter, maxed scorpion, maxed brutus, lvl 17 crisis, mk7-17 ricochet, mk7-4 viking, mk5 thunder, mk5 railgun, mk5 isida and 6 protection modules at 40% protection, a lot of good augments for both hulls and turrets, 10k+ of each supply (and this is with me not spending the crystals with utmost efficiency because i did spend a bit of them outside any sales) good luck doing that during 2017 or earlier without spending a lot of money every single month

I don't know, it's virtually impossible to survive this because there are so many missiles. It doesn't seem balanced.

@@K-kof2000 Indeed, 16 missiles greatly increases the chances of getting killed by them, but if you manage to hide behind a wall, you might just survive it. Unless a targeted teammate goes near you :P (death by splash damage)

although i will say one op thing abt it is the mechanic to make it target multiple tanks far apart from each other (dont think that was intended by the devs but theres certain steps u can do to initiate the 'bug')
