I played the game when it first came out because my grandma bought it for me when I was 6. I remember the first time I fell into a pit because I was still getting used to the controls and hearing Shadow say "Damn! Not here!" I actually was shaken up and asked myself why my grandma would get me such a mean game like this. I was so innocent that everytime I heard or saw a curse word on the screen, I covered my ears and closed my eyes because I thought I'd get in trouble if my parents saw me.

You know, if the Sonic 3 movie is rated PG 13, they could or might add a little f-bomb in one of Shadow’s lines if they wanted to, but when it comes to Sonic X Shadow Generations then I don't think he can actually drop a proper f-bomb since this is a Sonic Generations remaster & it was made for an appropriate age back then, but for movie 3 there is still a slight chance they could get away with it if its rated PG 13.

Honestly yeah, let him say the f word. He isn't really a character to swear particularly much(Don't slap me with the 2005 game, that was a localization change), but giving him one word once in a while will help him stand out again. Currently, he is still kinda just "part of the blob that is the extended cast" with the only seperator being that he logically gets more media because he has been popular with fans in the past.

We *desperately* need those recordings to leak, and for modders to get them back in the game - would like a playthrough with the dialogue being closer the original intent. I've always felt that one of the reasons the game feels out of place is not because of the 'edginess', but because it felt like it held back, given the setting and story (obviously to achieve the E10+ rating). I feel like if the game had just leaned in to the darker tone, it would have actually gone over much better with the crowd it was trying to target

Very good video, Chris! Shadow has, in the past, said all that stuff like “damn” and whatever. I can sort of see the issue they had with the Shadow game when it first came out. Not gonna lie, I don’t really enjoy that game that much. But, I still think it’s great on a first play through. I’m hope Sonic X Shadow Generations will continue the story and find out more about Shadow.

I could say, if Sega did another Shadow the Hedgehog game. They should do it where in the settings that includes mature setting to include cursing and blood. But also a "disable mature mode (recommended)" too. It'll be the same game still but with an option to have a mature experience
