@pompsie slots You have to go for the prizes right next to the drop off opening. You noticed when you actually grabbed a prize and it shook off of the claw?? The trick is to have it fall off the claw towards the drop off opening.
For those that don't understand how a claw game works I spoke to a guy who was putting fresh stuff toys in a regular claw game and he told me how it works. The claws will not lock until a certain amount of money is put in the machine. You can put the claws perfectly on a prize but the prize will fall out until the machine has reached a predetermined amount of money is put in the machine. As you see you picked up many balls but the jaws loosen to drop it. But if it is time to pay the jaws lock.
@@idonthaveaname42 While this is truth at the core, there's still a reason to play the slots. I always expect to lose some money, but I also expect to get a certain amount of return back while losing my money. Losing $100 should result way more than that in coin-in. I could lose $500 on a trip, and hit $2500 coin-in on the machines. I'm getting more in comp rooms and F&B credit than I'm losing on a trip. That stupid machine they were playing is a sure fire way to just flush money down the toilet and get nothing back for offers. No thank you.

Claw machines have been rigged for years. They have to be to make money. What they do is only allow the claw enough pressure to hold the prize all the way to the hole like 28% of the time. Watch how your friend had that one until it jerked. That's when the claw released pressure and he lost his prize. Although it does look extremely fun just know your odds of winning are probably the lowest the casino offers.
I agree that RNG probably determines when the CLAW puts out a enough pressure to keep the ball from dropping. I worked with a guy that owned claw machines. He would stand the dolls or critters upright and together so that they would provide more resistance to the claw grip. All that glitters doesn’t yield gold.
The local claw machine by me had one, and I think I single-handedly got them to remove it. I won all the time on it! The trick? Know that the claw has pincers on two of the claws, and NO PINCER on the third. This is important to know, because you want to keep the claw on the left side. If you keep it on the left? It doesn't jerk the claw in two of the motions. ALSO: You want to make sure that you don't aim for a higher ball, as it weakens the claw grip. Last, but not least: You want the ball to have 2/3 of the ball above the grip line. If the ball is at the halfway point? It won't hold. HOPE THIS HELPS!

I’d try to get a ball right next to the drop box. That way if it does pick it up it doesn’t have that far to travel to drop in the box. Just my thoughts
Looks to me like as soon as the claw raises to the top of the booth and “hits” the ceiling - the claws open & ball will drop. What a racket! It’s just like a crooked sideshow game at a county fair….booooo!! But the Pompsie Crew is still the best!

Love this machine! I played it back in July when I went for my birthday. Always won on it. I would put a 20 in and do 4 $5 bets. I won $250 off of one play. However it is a claw machine so it works like one. So it won't pay out until it's ready.
@@lillianliber1798 It'll just give you the cash price displayed on the screen. If I'm not mistaken I believe the ball falls back in after winning a price.

Try to put the claw close towards you instead of moving it towards the back because it only holds for so long before it releases. I would of loved that machine 😂😂😂
If I owned that machine you were playing, I wouldn't want it to have a functional crane either. I lost count of how many times it dropped the ball. I have a name for that machine: "Butterfingers."
i work in robotic, and I hate those machine cause they are designed to fail. It's nothing about accuracy or control, they are design to not pick up things.
It's like any claw in an arcade. It's set to pay after X amount of money has been put thru it. Once that happens the strenght of the claw tightens to win
They say the trick is to capture the ball closest to the drop box because the arms are programmed to release pressure within the first few seconds. Good luck. ❤️
@@MrJuvefrank - you got that right. Once my doggy has the ball, he is not dropping it. My doggy can grab two balls at a time and will try like hell to grab three
