These intakes are sick, but what about needing to remove them for a job? It looks like you need to remove the whole bumper and maybe even the shroud to remove the intakes, to make more room, just because of the clamp location. There are a few front mount intakes like MAD's which you can just unscrew the part you need and leave the filters behind the grille without issue.
Nice E30 shirt, WHERE'S THE E30?, WE WANT AN UPDATE LOL!!! Wish we had a G8X to purchase the new intake setup, it sounds amazing, congrats! (N54 next lol)
Wow 🎉 wow great video.. but wow where’s the E46 M3 … T-shirt…. I’m all the way over In the Uk 🇬🇧 love your channel.:. Have you stickers to put on my E46 M3 to advertise for you lol …
Yes alot. I personally drive mine daily, and its get covered by bugs, mud, dust and sand super quickly. This is good for summer car only, no rain, no dust.
What color is your downstar hardware? Curious about the price point on the intake in a blurple as my G87 is Zandvoort. Is your blurple the same blurple as a downstar titanium hardware kit? I appreciate your content and any response. Definitely intrested in your titanium intake.
Looks good and sound good but offers zero power gains. If anything it actually loses power. Also driving in the rain with the filters exposed like that doesn't sound like a good idea. I just used a BMC filter and got rid of the charcoal liner on the factory intake on my S55 and it provides the same whoosh noises while offering no power loss.
Pretty bold assumptions there. We have years of experience running front mounts and them being exposed has never been an issue. We also live in Florida where it rains everyday. As far as power gains, we will be dynoing the car soon to find out. Felt like it gained some power on the first drive.
@@VehicleVirals Show some dyno numbers then. I haven't seen any of these front mount intakes make power. I have seen them lose power on bimmerpost. Also blocking the front heat exchanger with filters doesn't seem like a good idea. Post a dyno of stock intake vs these.
I think it would be cool to see to some drivetrain mods get done and driving enhancements, like a short shifter, bushing, diff and trans mounts and such. Make a bit better use of the power the car makes and get to really rowin’ the boat 🛶
