Pre retcon Void was definitely a tricky fella and too much for Flash/Sonic but they at least had the illusion that they could win. Getting sucker punched at the end like a jabroni though by Blast…idk definitely showed he was probably inferior to the number 1 hero. Post retcon is a legit threat and one Blast may struggle with - I hope for a good fight while Saitama enjoys his noodles.

It's kinda true of most villains recently, Garou was also vastly less powerful before they retcon the ending where him and Saitama are about to just talk it out.

@@damarion7923 Possibly, but Blast has previous knowledge of the ability, he knows what it's called and what it does. Garou doesn't. So even if we do grant it to garou that he could sense it, he may not know how to counter it quickly enough.

We see in this very chapter that Blast has much stronger moves that he just can't use on Earth, not to mention Blast only needed help for the Serious Punch squared which isn't Saitama's or Cosmic Garou's usual power, it's two Saitama's. Neither would be able to output that amount of power normally, so Blast having trouble redirecting it alone isn't bad because he was literally trying to redirect the power of two of the main character of the series.

Not to mention that version of Cosmic Garou was the weaker form. The one that fought Saitama on Jupiter was way stronger than this version he just sucked up cause how many times Garou copy Saitama trying to keep up with him. Garou based off the chart was even a bit stronger than base Saitama when he was copying him during the fight on the moon.

@@williamcrooksii9139 I agree the version that Void stole power from wasn't as strong as Io Garou, but remember that Void was already God boosted before this, he was just weakened. He absorbed Garous power to regain his former strength, and likely became stronger than his old self because of the added cosmic power he took. I don't necessarily think he's stronger than Io Garou though, but he might be closer than most people think. Also, I never really took the graph thing that seriously because, while I agree he got stronger, the graph doesn't really explain just how much stronger he was getting, not to mention he never actually does an attack as powerful as the one's on Earth even his normal nuclear fission punches on Earth did more damage than on Io and the Gamma Ray Burst would have too had it hit the ground. Even Saitama never does an attack even close in power to the serious punch squared, the most powerful attack he did was the Jupiter sneeze, which while powerful is still a good deal lower than the squared serious punch. I think people tend to forget that the serious punch squared isn't something either Saitama or Garou could do solo, because it's literally the power of two Saitama's combined, so by themselves they can't output that level of power normally. Saitama probably will be able to do that eventually, but currently there is no reason to assume he's at that level yet.

Probably not since the Mad cyborg would need to be connected to God somehow to be even close to Void and Garou, and if he's going to be Genos's opponent it wouldn't make sense for him to be God level since I doubt Genos could beat a God level threat yet. Even with his display against Psyrochi, and him getting upgraded against, I doubt he's God level.

The amount of stuff people don't notice happening in this story and you think people would see Blast and Empty voids fight? Saitama went to the moon and back and not a soul noticed.

Until now, he has only one confirmed kill - beast in a facility where Tatsumaki was held as a child, and maybe one more in Sweet Mask flashback, and that is it. So, in terms of S class, hardly anybody killed as little monsters as he, even King was direct cause of death of shapeshift monster (and indirect for many more). So Blast maybe most powerful of S class, but he is least deadly (considering what we know). And it is just sad, he feels so wasted potential, unless Saitama will stay away of this and Blast will handle it entirely on his own. But that is unlikely. As for now, it looks that future of Blast is that of defeat, humiliation and feeling of being useless, as he will get eclipsed by Saitama.

@@Tertium94 im just saying, he reacted with ease to a cosmic garou that had copied saitama while not going all out. if he's fighting someone who can manipulate space while feeling confident he wouldnt lose then he could probably beat someone like garou. if he can react to and move faster than the fastest/strongest attack in the series then he can beat the person who could hardly output half of the force required to make said attack if he's confirmed stronger than garou of this timeline who had already copied saitama before getting hit, and blast was able to fight him with what looks like not much difficulty, then yeah id say blast wins
