Why did we never get a SUPERHOT 2 VR?! SUPERHOT is STILL one of the best VR games around and it's crazy that we never got a full VR sequel to this beloved classic... however COLD VR is an upcoming new VR game that feels very much like a spiritual successor to SUPERHOT and might just fill the void for that sequel we've all been wanting. COLD VR flips the SUPERHOT mechanics on their head, in this VR FPS you have to keep moving to ensure time moves slowly for your enemies, if you stop moving them time goes back to normal speed and you'll be filled with bullet holes in now time, meaning this is a much more frantic, chaotic feeling experience versus the methodical planning and slow motion dodging of SUPERHOT. Visually the two games could definitely be from the same developer, the polygonal enemies and shiny white levels are instantly familiar but COLD VR has some surprises up it's sleeve in the form of Backrooms VR levels where running away from enemies is the only way you'll survive...

It's utterly mental that Superhot VR never got a sequel. It sold well over a million copies on PC alone. The devs clearly don't like money. It's still my go to game to introduce people to VR, without the risk of motion sickness. This won't fall into that category but looks great so will definitely wishlist and keep an eye out for it.

oh yes superhot dev likes money, and he likes easy money even more. Apparently, sequels of VR games often sell less than the 1st game, so he doesn't want to invest time and effort for less profit, especially if the 1st still sells well. It's capitalism cynism

heard the studio head wasnt interested in making games, the people who made it long ago moved on, i know one works at cd project, superhot team supposedly funds some projects or something i suspect it might be a similar situation to stalker games, where the studio head want only the $ and hated video games, didnt pay anybody and ran away with the money firing entire staff, so despite being one of most popular games of the time it never saw a sequel ( until the recent cash in after the ip owner ran out of money )

You should play some more small tiny indie devs trying to make VR titles, there are a lot of tiny creators that could get a life changing boost from just a little bit of exposure by a large channel.

I tried it few weeks ago. It's fun, but the inverse logic from superhot makes it way less interesting. In superhot you had to stay calm, take your time to think before acting, and consider the effect of each movement; it was a puzzle game as much as an action game. Here you just run and shoot like in every fastpaced fps, only it's slowmo. So yes it's fun, but way less tactical than superhot

Hi 👋 I have a Quest 2 and recently bought the Quest 3. I want to play Walkabout Mini golf with my wife. But all the videos ive watched about linking headsets and accounts are very confusing. Is there an easy way for me to have a set-up where i can own my 2 headsets and be able to hand 1 to friends or family and enjoy a game or 2? Please help 🙏 Its really annoying as my Quest 2 is gathering dust and im sure it could still be usefull. Maybe a quick video in words of one syllable, for us technologically challenged. Yes, nice surprise for an upcoming good VR game. However, I would have found the mechanics of Superhot VR better. And I also think Superhot is definitely one of the games that made a profit. But they don't even release a level pack/DLC for VR? Why don't they want to make more money and make the VR community happy? More Superhot VR Levels cant be that hard to make für them...

I’m convinced this guy doesn’t actually know anything about Phil Spencer lmfao. Just angry and confused, I feel you bro lol. It comes down to the individual studios though, EA, Blizzard, and 343 for example. It is a job to them, an exchange of time for profit for their own passions in life but as for indie studios, the passion is the work, and profit is a afterthought. In fact these indie studios put forward their own money into these projects. It is completely backwards.

I'm mad no Namco time crisesish game just zombie game 1,024 and no murder mysteries without supernatural demon ghost crap no James bond Golden eyeish metal gear type just cod clones and can't shoot people only polygon robots and cartoonish characters. I thought there'd be more from big companies for stuff like this because of resident evil 7 looking so cool in vr along with half life alyxx jone wickish shootout game

I truly believe all the issues in AAA gaming will push a bunch of new players over to VR! So many have had enough of the pricing, the social activists destroying creativity and seeing beloved IP’s being dumbed down. We have none of that crap in VR, we have reasonably priced games and unrestricted creativity! My flat screen games era has been over since Vertigo 2, I just want great reasonably priced creative games and VR gives that to me! I couldn’t care less about graphics, I just want to be entertained and inspired.

The prices are reasonable but we have to remember that the PSVR2 costs more than the PS5, of course it is additional hardware but we have to price it too.

My flat screen era has also been over since i bought the psvr2 6 months ago. I just bought a meta quest 3 1 week ago as well. Im upgrading my pc setup so i can get into high quality pcvr with mods like skyrim vr and fallout 4 vr both with mods. Also praydogs resident evil 2 and 3 remake vr mod. Im currently playing assasins creed nexus and the next game im playing after is madison vr on my psvr2… vr gaming is next level and i cant get enough of it

@@bxile730same. I actually got into building a pc just to play Vr games lol. I knew nothing about building pcs or anything. I bought a quest 2 when it came out. I saw someone playing Half life on RU-vid. I really wanted to play it. So I learned how to build a gaming pc. Now I’m hooked haah

I can not agree with you more. I bought a pc purely for VR few months ago. Ok not a epic strong pc but still. And after trying out all the old AAA titles half life alyx , lone echo , asgard wrath one. Big games 140gb for asgard wrath 1. And to see what we get now it beyond sad. All ported quest moblie versions .some games as small as 350mb for 30 bucks. Come on its just sad. I feel like i trew away my money for the pc. Thankfully im a die hard rythm game player so atleast enjoy those

I’m definitely to each his own when it comes to entertainment and video games but I never understood for the life of me. Why games like this and super hot are so heavily praised I always find these games to be utterly boring and underutilizing the potential of a VR world, especially with the graphical lazy and boring art style but again, like I said to each his own
