I don't think Luka and Jokic work as well together as Murray and Jokic. Stockton/Malone complimented each other so well that there may not be another duo in league history that can match them. Magic/Kareem probably as close as it gets. Throwing two great players together doesn't necessarily work. Cohesion is one of the biggest and overlooked aspects of the game. The reason the Heat and Nuggets are in the Finals. The reason GSW, Boston, Bucks, etc have been on top or in contention. It would be hard to mesh Luka and Jokic together in a way that comes close to maximizing ther respective games. Luka is very ball dominant. His best complimentary players would be people who can work very well off ball which is mostly catch and shoot.

He can’t be scoring 50 a game and still lose. I do think the pick and roll game with Jokic and Luka would be a show. But if your thinking defense. Luka has something to prove still. And Jokic I think is a solid defender. Good rebounder for sure. But blocking shit and being a anchor down low might be a issue the mavs already have. But maybe if they keep wood. And put him at PF he might be able to get some blocks and protect the rim a bit more. Idk. Anyway. All I’m saying is it would be fun to watch and two mavs need some more star power

@Cove Gaming They would be better off with someone like Rudy Gobert, maybe Bam or even Steven Adams plus a shooter or two. Just a shooter that can work off ball (Steph Curry type mold ideal) and can be elite or close to it as a perimeter defender. That's asking a lot but by the same token it would match a player of Jokic's caliber and be a much better fit.
