I think he also doesn't have the faintest Idea about the concept of ISO-8 sets. It really feels bad man to spend that amount of money and to gain nothing hopefully this video really helps him. All this tells me they seriously need to consider improving in-game tutorial it's really necessary for players to grasp the basic concepts like ISO8 , Comic Cards etc

There are actually some characters that don't have their attack stat shown on their first gear. I don't know why exactly, but Apocalypse is an example of a character that has All Attack shown for both the top and bottom stat on his first gear. It's almost kinda worse for him since he's a Combat type, which most people assume will be Physical, but he's an Energy Attack character. Sharon Rogers and Luna Snow are the same way, they both have All Attack in both slots. Same for Doctor Doom, Odin, Dormammu, etc. My best guess is they did this as a way to make a character seem more "premium" (thus it's on their first couple OCs and some double cost NT2s, characters they want people to see as "good"), even though All Attack and Energy/Physical Attack are functionally the same as long as the Energy/Physical matches the character's stat. Who knows.
