Pogacar absolute KING, he's the unique that can do podium in Tours, Grand Tours, Monuments, Classics, Olympique, Championships. The others are specialists.
@@mondociaociao Yeah I know pogi is far superior, but nibali won Milan san Remo, Lombardia, dropped sagan in a cobble stage, was in a very good form at the rio olympics. Very complete
Hmmm....Remco Evenepoel.....Tom Pidcock. These two are really close already. To me MvdP is the best cyclist of all times, since he is great on the road, he is 5 times world Champion in cyclocross and also has one titles in MTB. Tom Pidcock is not that dominating, but he too can win in all three disciplines. So to me the most complete cyclists ever. On the roa Mathieu to me is the most spectacular of them, but Tadej is the most complete there. After him it is difficult. Mathieu of course has won in the TdF and the Giro and has already had the yellow and pink jersey. Remco has won the Vuelta and a classic. Wout has won in the TdF and some classics. Remco has the most potential. Even though I have never seen him riding, it is clear that no one is remotely close to Merckx and also not to Hinault. People tend to proclaim GOATS these days...But Merckx for instance is 600 victories in front of Pogacar. Moreover, after people proclaiming Pogacar is the next Merckx I looked at how Merckx won in classics. We are not talking naroow gaps of 10-20 s. He won them sometimes with many minutes. IN the Ronde van VLaanderen he did not start 17 km before finishing, he started no less than 104 km before the finishline. I don't think any current rider will dethorne Merckx and I think what Hinault has done is also probably a bridge too far. But who knows. What is exceptional is the number of strong contenders. t is so tight, I have never seen cycling ever being so exciting as we are witnessing in the last couple of years.
@@jaysimoes3705 can’t compare the eras in my opinion. Merckx will always be held as the greatest no one in modern day will touch his numbers. Mvdp needs to complete and compete in some Tour de France. Those 3 each have their strengths and I think all three would beat remco in the classics unless they were caught out
@@colinhugo5455 Off course you can. Merckx is greater than Cavagna. See, I did it, and everyone would agree. Comparing riders from different eras is absolutely possible.
@@japphan Merckx would get destroyed in this era.. In The Era of Merxck cycling wasnt so international, it was like cyclingcross in belgium now. Also the avg speed is higher in this era, now you have riders specialist in different kind of races.. You cant compare..
I rewatch this race alot. Love the result too since a lot of people think Wout folds against MVDP. The look on Wout’s face towards the end is of a man completely done. The fact that he pulled the win is an incredible feat.
To be honest I am not a complete fan of tadej. My critique concerns his cycling style. Regardless. These 3 athletes are the titans of their sport with tadej holding top spot. In a class of his own. Y'all
Hi TJV please add Primo to LTDF . You will 2 GC with Jonas Vingegaard. And for all team please add all your gc riders lets this year LTDF be the greatest one
Pogacar, Remco,Mathieu and Wout are big champions from annother level, Why only those 4 ? all the otther big and strong racers are no attackers and hanging to much in otther riders wheels to save strength . The absolute number 1 is pogacar ...
I think this video is made by a Belgian. Only Van Aert wins here, while he lost the major ones to MVDP and Pogacar: the monuments Milan-San Remo, Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris-Roubaix.
My favorites are the ones that dare to race and always entertain. So MvdP and Pogi clearly on top followed by van Aert and Roglic and in the far distance Remco E.
Why does 2/3 of this video have nothing to do with Van Art vs VdPoel vs Pogacar? Most of the footage is from the round of Catalunya, where none of them appear.
