No way I'd be expecting a Hyper Beam after seeing the Obstruct. Unless I was battling Callum or HomeSlice. Then I'd be shielding literally everything 🤣
Uh, HB after Obstruct... it's a LOT of turns. And eg. in 1st match against Cobalion - 2 Cross Chops would do much, much more damage, costing less. I played NS/HB for 2 sets, and while it feels satisfying at times, I feel I'm limiting myself too much (back to CC).
I’ve actually never used cross chop on goon. Built my first on com day with obstruct then switched it to Hyper beam lol. But I might finally start using the cross chop
I love hyper beam so much, my favorite move in the game. The commentary really adds to it, too. Everytime I hear ‘big damage’ ‘massive damage’ ‘one shots’ I laugh so hard
Excellent final match, I thought that might be the only play against a charm lead! 😂 QOTD: probably Dark types, there's some great meta relevant mons and cool designs too, from Umbreon to Tyranitar to Yveltal etc

Definitely not a team I’d recommend for climbing elo, but still fun to play and surprisingly not actually too terrible in the current meta (charmers being a massive issue of course haha). Landing surprise hyper beams can sometimes make un-winnable games winnable!
Loved the way the trainer toyed with Giratina in the last game. Waited till the end to shove a super BM Hyperbeam right in Giratina’s face. It was a battle of super resisted fast moves and the only super effective charged move doing next to nothing in damage output. But the BM Hyperbeam made the entire torturous matchup worth it 😂

I'm 10 seconds in and what the heck levels of spice. I tried a triple normal team with obstagoon and shadow staraptor....may need to spice up the moveset
qotd: dark/poison. its such an underated combo, and great coverage. drapion and skuntank are the best examples, with their great stats and moves combined with their same type combos
QOTD : steel for me is the best typing and the most fun moves to use like magnet bomb , flash cannon , gyro ball , meteor mash , doom desire , like even mirror shot animation looks sick
I've been running an Obstagoon w Night Slash and Hyper Beam along with Gliscor and Charizard and it's just so much fun, i thoroughly enjoy booming down serious counters like Tapu Fini with Goon😂😂 QOTD: Poison and Flying

QOTD: I like Water types, but I think Ice is one of the best and most underrated types. Also, fairy types are very underrated, at least in GL. I'm probably biased because I love using Whimsicott
You hit a fairy every time after going 5-0 right? Me too. Pokémon go is hacked crap and niantic keeps it that way to get us to spend money, gross company
