While taking the Acura RSX out on it's first test drive with new parts, we discovered that the car has Launch Control from factory! Now with the car running right, it's time to start making some more power and make use of the 2 step!

17x9 +22 is perfect fitment paired with 245/40/17. Also I highly recommend Acuity’s 4 way shifter, I tried the k tuned shifter and some similar ones but you had to be ultra precise or it wouldn’t go into gear

I’d love to see a N/A route where you do some cool engine work and do autocross or time attack. Mine has 223K and still goes strong. So you won’t have to swap in a K24 for a good bit haha. But I’ve been wondering what my steering wheel was shaking for on to the expensive purchase.

I remember discovering that my 7th gen accord has a 4k rev limiter. It was so much fun trying it but I spun so bad that I thought I broke the clutch. It was completely fine, but I still haven’t tried it since

My 2006 civic si has a rev limiter at 5500 rpm when stopped in first gear, pretty cool to launch with.

Hey zorbii first time watcher, really like you stuff. I have a Acura rsx 06 apparently it ain’t actual launch control just a 5k rev limit when the car is not moving. Best part about Hondas is you can use the rev limiter as lunch control cause their engines are so durable

Daniel is not a second axle. It's an intermediate shaft/ half shaft. Used to equalize axle lengths, or you wind up with vicious torque steer. Like into the trees/ ditch, or in Japan, oncoming traffic. I've been in the import tuner scene since pretty much you were in diapers... long before it hit Louisiana (S.E La here) I used to do all kinds of swaps, modulus Rbs into s13s (first properly working RB20 in the country) unlike those d bags from VA who couldn't get there's to Rev past 3700. Anywho.. glad to finally see an upload from you. Keep up the good work.

I have an 03 TL Type-S and I actually had my passenger side axle snap at 197k miles and I have to say the passenger side is a much different ball game than the driver when they’re being changed. Other than that though my TL will spin through 2nd gear with T/C on and broke one of my motor mounts so I had to replace that too.

your best bet to start with that many miles would be check the vtec solenoid cause those go out at higher miles mine went out at 230k. best starting mods would be skunk2 or drag cartel cams intake invidia headers to full race exhaust, hondata or ktuner, intake and a bigger throttle body with e85 and youll be ripping na next is supercharge it or turbo

I have a fully stock 03 Acura MDX and it does the same thing with the rev limiter, only goes up to roughly 5k and never goes to redline

in the future, if you ever need to take the axles off again, I'd suggest unbolting the strut from the hub after you undo the lower ball joint. you shouldn't need to undo the sway bar or the tie rod this way( assuming the car is on jack stands like it was in the video)

My goal when taking this apart was to save the alignment. Would those bolts effect the camber or are they studded? I just found that on the Mustang they're studded.

It will only 2 step at a dead stop. But if you roll a little bit and then push the clutch it should go to redline and then dump the clutch it should roast the tires pretty good 👍🏻

Ayo, so my 04 Accord does the same thing, ima try to get a video posted of my car or some shiz. My cousin, when he had the car, just welded on a aftermarket muffler and tip to the stock exhaust pipe after he chopped of the stock muffler. It’s not very pretty but it sounds alright

@@Zorbii nothing against boost, but I've always loved screaming k20/24s when they're fully built n/a, if you want boost, same route, except rods and lower compression pistons. Compared to the coyotes and vq's Hondas are always gonna be cheaper for the obvious, but you've got a really good base and I can't wait to see what's to come. Been a long time follower of Gavin, very happy to see your own channel. I'll be here for the ride.
