Oh my GOD. My speech therapist must've had one of these because I remember getting those weird ass candy burgers after each meeting. I am reeling. To think that she had to prepare these items (complete with little french fry carton) before every meeting on top of being a college student who must actually make me pronounce my R's and S's correctly is very impressive. I give her a five star review. Twenty one years after the fact.

You unlocked memories of me playing with this toy in 1991 with my cousin. I recall using cinnamon with the bread fries and it tasted alright. The patties I swear to god I remember them being better than however these things turned out but I cant begin to explain how we were even able to make these things. It was just generally fun times, even though the resulting product was likely just as "good" as you found out. I know this video is more than a year old, but this video was seriously appreciated.

The nostalgia! I had this stuff- although I had the chicken nugget maker instead of the burger one. That was bread chunks coated in syrup & rolled in crushed corn flakes. It was excactly what you'd expect from that. The drink machine got the most use.

I had a fake store that velcro'd open/shut, and had plastic produce, coins, a cash register... I would have _killed_ for this toy. Not just to eat the stuff, but to wrap tiny burgers in tiny paper and put them in the tiny happy meal box. I loved tiny, functioning versions of things as a kid. I would've tried to make them with the ingredients of the real snack, though.

I 100% had the drink one. So nostalgic. Considering my mom is a hoarder it might still be in their house somewhere. I used to put pepsi in it as a small child. I remember the texture of the button and feel of the tiny cup. I loved that thing. I'd drink it while I played with my pizza hut barbie. Now I really want it back...I'll have to try to find one.

A friend of mine had the burger maker one when we were kids. She was very excited to show it off as she had just gotten at as a gift. we assembled/used it together…your struggle brings back memories of the absolute “fun” we had with that thing. Needless to say by the end, we where very disappointed and wanted nothing more to do with it after single “burger” was made. (We even struggled getting the grinder to work too, gave up and improvised.)

I actually had the Burger maker toy as a kid. We made the "burgers" once when we first got it, then it just became a plastic toy for whatever dumb kid things we ended up doing with it afterwards. I do not remember what they tasted like..... but since I only remember using it properly once, I would imagine not very great. The experience with the burger maker probably dissuaded my parents from buying the other 2 McDonald's "food" makers. I was like 6 or 7 years old and my sister like 4 or 5 at the time. It was probably a HUGE mess.
