Please stop using the word of God without mentioning the Holy Spirit, tell them they can't do it WITHOUT the Holy Spirit. People should stop spreading this notation that you can do it alone... It's only by the power of God, through the Holy Spirit Don't stop sharing this, it's why so many people are still unable to remain righteous, because they will never saved in the first place, THEY NEVER GOT THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT JOHN THE BAPTIST SAID JESUS WOULD COME GIVE US WATER BAPTISM ALONE DOES NOT SAVE YOU!! YOU NEED A BAPTISM OF THE SPIRIT, THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT Google BAPTISM OF HOLY SPIRIT WITH FIRE, or BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IF YOU HAVE NO SUPERNATURAL POWER, YOU ARE NOT SAVED, FOR GOD IS A GOD OF POWER AND SO ARE HIS CHILDREN, that power is given by the gift of the Holy Spirit... But DON'T WORRY it is freely given by God if you just ask Him sincerely... Kindly speaking, one can not even discern the Bible WITHOUT the Holy Spirit, because the Bible says it's a spiritual book and THEREFORE it is only discerned spiritually, by the help of the Holy Spirit PLEASE STICK TO THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE SCRIPTURES I say this with LOVE as a Holy Spirit filled person, by the influence of the Holy Spirit...... so I mean no harm and have no need to missleed you for God lives in me and is always watching my every move.... I as well have suffered from mental torment. I still stuffer however there are times where the thoughts get real dark and I force myself to sing a worship song. It definitely helps and many times I'm able to go to sleep after. I do wish that there was a switch we could flip and it all be gone, but I'm trusting that God is trying to teach us something through this walk, we just need to remember to give Him the glory. God bless you sister, know that you aren't alone.

Yes I agree and whenever I see something my mind think instrusively and I put those blasphemous things in action and now I'm sad I have been praying and praying and I think it's because I haven't Been putting in my effort!

Yes, it is extremely hard to change some of my intrusive thoughts even though I try so hard. 😢

One thing I try to do is just worship when my thoughts get bad. For me worship is where I'm closest to God. And in those moments every single worship song I know is no longer in my mind so I sing Thank you Jesus over and over sometimes ill sing thank you for my kids/Family/ a person or situation. But when I start to do that I do notice a change in me. Those thoughts get silent and many times I'm able to go to sleep(my thoughts keep me from sleeping many times). I don't do this as often as I should because when I don't I notice I just get worse and I fall for the lies. The how is different for everyone. People have told me to go in a room alone and pray and I'm sorry but that doesn't work for me. God made us uniquely different for a reason. Maybe try some worship music. Just listen to it if you want. I pray that no matter what works for you that you use your how to help others as well. God bless you sister. You are not alone.

​@@abbygale3522 thank you for this advice! Listening to gospel music has helped me overcome temptations and intrusive thoughts. One song that I really love is Fighting For Me by Riley Clemmons. She sings about how God will never stop fighting for us even when we can't fight for ourselves and how He is the peace when our minds are at war which He is! I recommend you to give it a listen! 🤍

@@Daughter_of_God_101 oh my yes I love that song as well. They use to play it all the time on Air1. I haven't heard it recently. But none the less that is a great song. Bless you. 🥰 there are so many songs that everytime I listen to them something different stands out. I actually quit listening to secular music a few years ago. It's been a blessing because I hear my kids singing worship songs just randomly instead of singing about vile things. And hearing my kids worship God reminds me that everything will be alright because I see Jesus every time in them.

I just struggled all day today with lustful thoughts. During my dinner prayer I asked the Lord to help me with thoughts that are pure, true, just, lovely and righteous. This video just suddenly appeared in my feed😮, the Lord truly knows how to reach us during our times of need🙏❤️💯.
