and about 2:30 the exhaust fan starts running, ruining the asmr trip I was having. i bet there's some ai that could clean that awfull sound. nevertheless, i muted the video but saw it all with my mouth watering. i'll try it for sure.
Andrew, thank you for stating your preference for having ALL your ingredients ready, chopped, or whatever is required of them before you start actually cooking! I've watched various cooking channels & they're like...ok, while your oven is warming up, cut up this..or prepare something else, & I've always felt like an outlier of sorts because I've always inherently had all my prep done before heating anything up to cook. So, needless to say, I always felt like I wasn't a "proper" cook...so thanks for saying you do that also...makes me feel better about what I've been doing all along.
Okay, we were starving when we stumbled across this video. We had everything but the spinach so we sliced up broccoli, YUM YUM YUM. We served it over rice, thank you Andrew, another beautiful dish.
A bit late to the party, I tried this today, and got flashed. In Germany we say " eine runde Sache"(a round thing) to this great balanced flavors. I needed to improvise alittle bit, as I could not get any quality fresh spinach, so I took the green of some scallions and some fresh basil for replacement.... Now I just need the time to dive deeper into your recipes...
Yep please marry me Nard….wonderful rich sauce….how incredible. Thank you….great photography. The chat after is valuable. Will be cross hatching the tofu.
YAY! i was hoping to find a vegan version of this recipe, I don’t always eat vegan but sauces with dairy always make my stomach feel awful so i will definitely be doing this version instead :)
I made this last night and I’m finishing the leftovers as we speak. The sauce is absolutely delicious! I didn’t have any veggie Parmesan, so I added nutritional yeast instead. I served it over pasta. Even my extremely picky and tofu-resistant 13 year old loved it and went for seconds. Thank you for this recipe…I look forward to making more of your dishes!
Happy Fathers Day, and wow, this recipe looks amazing! As always, your unique perspective and suggestions are welcome and soothing. Have a great day and thank you for this gem.
Hi Andrew, I don't know if you have a video talking about how you got into cooking and where your passion for cooking comes from. It would be very interesting to hear your story.
I do videos at the end of the year every year that are Q&A's only (no cooking). I typically try to share stuff like this during that time. I'm not sure I've shared this before. I'm not sure I've shared how I got here before. But would love to! ❤️
A good seasoned cast iron skillet is just as good as a teflon one. You just have to take care of it and season it when it needs it...that's why I hide mine from the hubs or he would be in a mess of trouble if he touches it. Happy cooking everyone.
Happy Father's Day andrew haven't been able to watch for a few weeks 😢I really missed you my husband hasn't been well was in hospital for a few weeks😢I'm glad you used tofu again this looks delicious 😋 hopefully until next week 😊
oh no!!! im so sorry to hear. sending good energy your way in support of the hubs quick and healthy recovery. but i also know of the mental/physical hardship you are dealing with trying balance everything. please, take much care of yourself. sending air hugs ❤️🙏🏾
So I made this the other day using smoked cheese and smoked tofu and homemade mayo😑 I feel this was the healthiest wrap I've ever made that I'd give a 10/10 many thanks 🙏🏿
I am not vegan, but my husband is an orthodox Christian and abstains from animal products for about 1/3 of the year. Videos like these help me cook for him (and our church) during this time and I thank you for posting them.
Hey there Andrew 👋🏾 After this delicious looking recipe 😋, that Man of Mine will ask Me to marry Him over & over 😂 Hope You're having a Blessed Father's Day 🤗 Be Blessed on/with Purpose 🙏🏾😇
3:33 Next time you're doing this dish, take a good high quality photo of the pot, the composition of the white milk, tomatoe midtones and dark spices make it look like an explosion.
Did I miss the memo on the return of sun-dried tomatoes? This is seventh (?) recent vid where they come in clutch. Not complaining. Tasty flavor, especially when tomatoes aren't in season.
thanks for the feedback, Gina! looks like the community shared some value options for you. i will also add the recipe link here where you can get all the instructions and directions - makeitdairyfree.com/one-pot-marry-me-tofu/#recipe
Looks amazing 🫡 Something I will definitely make. Thanks for doing all the hard work in putting this recipe together; so we don't have to.😂 Keep it cummin. 👍
These recipes look great, but you need to be more consistent with the ingredient subtitles. Sometimes they are there, or else they disappear at certain steps, or you add an ingredient without labelling it. For instance, what was the stock that you added. The list of spices that you added was only there for a couple of seconds, I couldn't follow it. It's especially difficult without a commentary.
My dude, I am not the biggest fan of TOFU, but I love me some Chickpea. However, I will make it first with ToFu first. The way I am visualizing Chickpea is that I make it separately, and it appears you made this dish as a whole.
thank you for the feedback! I'd like to help make this more simple but I guess I would need to understand a bit more in detail how you typically go about trying to locate something so I can further understand. If you'd like, you can email me at andrewsveganfood@gmail.com the feedback in detail of how you do this today and I could try to work something out to make this more simpler for you and others that may be having similar issues.
