This reminds me of what John the Baptist said, “He (Jesus)must increase and I must decrease.” And also Philippians 1:21 “…to live is Christ and to die is gain” thank you sir for this reminder.
Your videos are amazing and of great help to somebody who has been a christian for 7 years and just few months ago decided to accept the church and Theotokos .Thank you .Glory to God .Lord have mercy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. (St Francis Assisi). Think it associates with this speech that came so timely with my personal troubles.
Thank you for pointing our heart and mind towards our God in the way you do, I’ve been listening to you for a while and my life is better because of it! Sincerely, Thank You Father Truebenbach ! God bless you!
9:01 Thank you Father, I needed to hear this very badly today. I was getting eaten alive by the guilt of my own sins, but now I understand that I have been far too self-focused and that I need to put my focus on living for Christ and for others. God bless you and your flock. Sincerely, a catechumen.
I hope you are doing well! I truly believe being hounded by our guilt comes from the Devil. My experience of God is that he convicts and guides us in moving on. He separates our sin from us like the East from the West. God bless you and your journey ❤
@@elusivemayfly7534 Oh thank you for your kind words! Yes, I am doing much better now, thank God! I was able to speak to my parish priest about the matter, and he was able to help set my mind aright. As a catechumen, I haven't gotten to do a real confession yet, but I feel like I did get a glimpse into the magical healing power that confession and repentance can bring. I am looking forward to doing my life confession now! God bless you too, and thank you!
