You can use the one named Inventory Kamera. It will scan Characters, levels, talents, constellations, weapons and all the artifacts in the box. Also you can select a specific artifact set or multiple sets and it will show you best build within those set.

You need to enable the shimenawa 4 pc effect in optimiser, it’s disabled by default. It might pick your original setup then. Also they have the multi target optimisation where you can put exactly what you do in the rotation and whether each hit vapes or not.

Btw if you want to take into account non-vaped hits, you can optimize for a bunch of attacks! Like you specify 3 of the 1st normal attack vaped, 6 of the 2nd normal attack non-vaped etc etc! You can add Overload hits as well and stuff You can create something like this with the “Multi-Optimization Target Config” button that you’ll find at the top next to the resistances button! (Side note, i dont think you enabled shimenawa’s effect but maybe i didn’t see quite well!)

as someone who does regularly dmg showcases, optimizer is truly a gamechanger!

Optimizer needs to know you want to account for specific set bonuses when configuring it. For example you need to let Optimizer know your facing frozen enemies so it can account for the 40 crit rate bonus from blizzard set. By the same logic you need to tell it you have 15 energy for Shimenawa set to be active. You do this in the Optimize tab, Artifact Set Configuration than find the specific set your looking for. You can also enable/disable it from trying specific sets to lower calculation time.

I think the reason shimenawa not being choose because you didn't triggered the effect on the optimizer. On the optimize tab, you can tap on the setting for the artifact set configuration. There you can choose what artifact set effect will be triggered (Yes, I'm a nerd lol and sorry for bad english)

This is why ppl start thinking that optimizer is not good or its just straight up bad. You have to tell optimizer that yoimiya can use the 4p shime buff otherwise opti is gonna default to not using 50% na dmg bonus. Also you dont vape every atk on yoi, so you have to add a multi target optimization. There you can tell which atk vapes, which atk doesn't and then opti will tell you how much em is worth. Most of the time an em sands is not worth on yoi. Opti is a lot of work in the beginning, but it gets way easier with time. And when you know how to use it, it takes a minute to change and get the most optimal builds.

To avoid having to dismantle other characters' builds, you can either uncheck "Use Equipped Artifacts" or click the cog icon next to it to set up a priority list of characters, such that characters lower in the order (or not on the list at all) won't attempt to steal artifacts from the ones above them when getting optimizer results. I usually put my VV users at the top, because imo nobody's substats are worth breaking a 4pc VV set, followed by my personal favorites, Emblem users, various other subDPSes and the 4pc buff set users.

You can manual input your rotation and tell the optimizer which hits are the one getting vaporized, and which arent. It does require a lot more work though, but it let's you optimize your whole rotation instead of a single hit. Some scanners also let you scan for characters+cons and weapons on top of artifacts.

Moga, I don't think you enabled the actual 4-set bonus effect with Shimenawa (and you may also need to enable the 4-set bonus on crimson Witch). Might be one of the reasons why you were never recommended complete 4-piece sets.

Hey, for what its worth, Genshin Optimizer has an additional tab at the top for called "Multi-Optimization Target Config" where you can select multiple attacks which it will attempt to optimize for all attacks selected. Also I would head into the settings for "Artifact Set Configuration" and activate possible set bonuses that Yoimiya could benefit from, like shimazawa's, or crimson's (It doesn't by default). Also set lvl assumption to lvl 20, so any artifact you got that could be better if it was only level 20 it'll calculate that at least the main stat. Second on Inventory Kamera as well..

Unless I missed it later on, you didn't enable the Thundering Pulse passive (to the left of the box where you selected it as Yoi's weapon). And as others are pointing out, 4pc set effects were all disabled, that's why you were getting 2pc set mixes.

i think you can change settings to consider specific 4pc buffs when calculating builds so you could see if you could go even further with yoi if 4pc shime gives you similar stats

I've been using this app for a year now and this app has been changed a lot since I started it year ago. As for the image artifact scanner. You dont actually need a scanner app to scan your artifact. You can just make a screenshot of your artifact using pickpick and upload them directly. And it will read your artifact stat automatically through the image. but you do need to check the stat number one by one in case it got the number wrong, and thankfully, the app actually let you review your scanned artifact before you add it. It's a great app that many people doesnt know.

During the last two GO build. It seems like you made your Yelan vape instead of Yoimiya. (The first hit vaped for 20k on each wave) While on the meme GO build you managed to maintain the hydro aura on Masanori.

if you think shime buff is worth you have to enable it in the artifact side bar. I think all effects are disabled by default even when you say to allow all 4 piece effects. yes the "avg dmg, vape enabled, 3rd hit" optimizes specifically for crit ratio, guaranteed vape, that individual hit. you have to go into "multi hit combo" section and create an entire rotation for yoimiya, while specifying certain reactions on certain hits throughout the rotation, then choose that multi-hit customization label as the value you want to optimize against and it will spit out the best average damage per full rotation.

This is all I needed after all. Now, I'm going to become the biggest nerd of them all!

One extra thing that helps me a lot using this tool, is learning which artifacts I could destroy, and which I should invest.

You probably already know by now, but might help someone else: when you ask the optimizer to optimize for vaped N1 he will give you optimized build for the situation in which you vape EVERY of your hits. Which is wrong and why it gives you so much EM. You can create custom targets with for exemple N1 vape N2 not vape N3 vape... So it will lower EM out of consideration for the hits that don't vape. Also like someone else said, you have to activate the conditional passives of artefacts, that's why Shime doesn't come out.

Hi Moga, there are a few more things to take into consideration with Genshin Optimizer. 1. You need to setup artifact effects since it doesn't know which effects may affect your character in specific scenario like is there a stack on 4p Witch or is Shimenawa active? You can set this up in "Artifact Set Configuration" of Optimize tab. 2. You can setup priorities on who can pick artifacts from whom (basically, who's higher on a totem pole). Click that gear next to "Use equipped artifacts". 3. Optimizing for reaction is questionable in cases like Yoimiya since in the best case scenario you vape only half of her damage. So, you may want to manually crunch some numbers to get total damage per rotation with taking vape into consideration (and thus EM stat) or without (so, you'll have minimal EM, but maximum everything else). Optimizer assumes that every _optimization target_ hit is vaporized which is a correct assumption given proper uninterrupted combos, but that's 1 hit in the chain of 7 and she vapes 2 out of those 7. 4. And in your second to last experiment you didn't vape even ONCE with her, so her entire EM stack was useless. Note which aura was on the guy. Yep, that's Pyro. XD If you haven't C2 on Yelan you may want to get it during re-run for a bit more consistent hydro application. Right now you just need to be a bit more careful with the rotation to make sure Yoi vapes her attacks instead of Yelan.

In the optimizer, when selecting or restricting artifacts, you can activate certain artifact buffs like Shimanewa : more than 15 energy before skill use. You need to activate it manually, otherwise it won’t take it into consideration :)

There are some small details that actually didn't make this as the best Yoimiya build. You can choose multiple hits and set to optimise them instead. Difference is, Yoimiya doesn't Vape all her NA, so when you choose to optimise only vaped NA, it will try to optimise only that (there are multi-target option).

You should definitely try to see your biggest possible elemental burst hit with raiden shogun using the optimizer! I did this with my hu tao and hit over 1mil, it's such an incredible tool

18:00 YEP if you select Vaporize then Optimizer will only considered on Vape hit which isn't optimal because Yoimiya has ICD. But... Optimizer has a feature called multi-target optimization, you can watch the tutorial of how to use it in the home page I think. It will letyou config multiple of her normal attack string, like first hit vape - 2nd,3rd hit non vape - 4th hit vape again and just like that you'll get the best artifacts build.

So Moga you might want to go into Artifact Configuration and select the option on Shimenawa's that uses 15 energy. Might make Shime best set on Yoi ^.-

I'd love to use something like this, but I only have like 100 artifacts half of which are very bad, and even so I hate switching them as I use a lot of different characters all the time, it's too boring to play the same 8 characters over and over, although there are definitely some favorites that get to be in any team no matter what But still the tool seems cool! More so for people doing showcases or trying to improve just a couple of their preferred characters though, not for optimising whole account, unfortunately haha I wish I could optimize all of the characters I use at once, but to do that I need to have much more artifcats first. Should get back to grinding them I guess (Also Thundering pulse comes back in a day, please wish me luck in getting it, I'm running skyward harp now and it's not very good, also two shimenawa and two wanderers as I still can't get any decent shimenawa sands or circlet sadly)

I'd love a follow up with not stealing pieces away. Sometimes i swap pieces, but generally I like to keep everyone separate, so I don't go to use a character and it's all screwed up.

tbh i dont think i would ever use builds based off these, because genshin isn't that much of a hard game anyways, so ill just build them however i can or however i like :)

The tool is very good, but finding the "right" optimization target is the real hard/annoying part of this tool ;/ I wish they did put a couple of recommendations for "normal" people to use LMAO

For those who want to stay on the safe side the site has a web-based scanner linked (called Arti-scan). Only works for artifacts but you can do it without any installation either upload a video or screenshare to the tool

For people who want to scan their artifacts without downloading/risking ban (if that actually can happen), you can record a video of you going through the artifacts and then upload this to a specific website which will extract the information.

Something I whoud enjoy to watch is if you take off everything of all your characters artifacts and weapon and then try to build them all sins you have almost raised everyone

Genshin Optimizer dind't assume 4 pc bonus from shimmi because you didn't enable it while checking for artifacts. Near Artufact Set Configuration, click gear icon, it will show you all sets and artifacts available to you and there you have to check "after using 15 energy" button near Shimenawa's set. @Moga

i started using this when I had too many characters and not that much artifacts. slightly optimize some builds I never change too. Noticed I underrated crit stats and overrated em/atk/hp

Dear lord. I've had the optimizer bookmarked for a rainy day because I keep seeing people mention it, but that's a bit too technical for my liking... maybe one day when I have a bunch of +20 artifacts sitting around and I don't know which one is better to get that 0.05% damage increase.

You can force this tool to keep the 4 piece set :D

I wish I had a PC so I could actually use the optimizer. I have so many characters with old artifacts that trying to optimize new characters would take an absolute eternity to try and sift through everything and pick out the best. I hope they find a way to make it a bit easier so that console players can use it too.

This tool looks like a mix of useful and rocket science xD Thought maybe I could use it to help build some teams but it doesn't seem like it will suggest optimal team members + builds for them when you pick a character, huh? No shortcuts xD Getting it to tell you which artifacts are good would probably already help. I wonder if it could tell you how likely unleveled artifacts are to become decent to help me decide what to throw artifact exp at. I don't really need optimal tryhard rocket science damage, but I do feel the time pressure in abyss floor 12 every time and need multiple attempts to get all stars. Does anyone know if there's a tool where I can fill in which characters I have and then I can pick a character and it will tell me good possible team comps?

Anyone know what the absolute best resolution/settings are to run these scanners so that the number text detection is as close to perfect as possible? I have tried so many things to get the correct value picked up, but it sometimes picks a "5" up as "8" and vice versa.... It even sometimes registers a characters level as "70/50" rather than "70/80"... These errors tend to make me think that there may be a few misdetections in the artifact stats as well, and that really really irks me lol.... It theoretically might make me a build that is not only non-applicable for my characters, but also impossible to even look for those items in game.......

You can set if the artifact set is triggered or not, as well as custom target that let you balance out how much vape you are doing within 1 rotation so the optimizer won't give you an overkill amount of EM.

I prefarmed my hutao pieces with lvl 90 r1 dragon's bane and she gonna do 44k vape charged attacks and 112k vape burst damage at triple crowned. when I will pull for her , i am guranteed and saved up primos as well, I'm blessed 😌 Edit : melt gonna do 59k charged And burst gonna do 150k

I assume this tool considers the artifact set's abilities? Sometimes reading these new sets' abilities gets annoying with how convoluted the buffs are, especially with Dendro reactions. Would be great to just let the tool do that for me.

hi moga you did not activate 4 piece set bonuses so 4 shim wasnt there since the 50% boost wasnt accounted for. to activate it in the optimize tab on the top right you need to change artifact set configurations. when you click on the gear on the right you ca activate 4 piece effects to be calculated aswell. so your current yoimiya might not the best yoimiya you could do. Anyways still a very cool video and i like your content. from a optimizer nerd

I am amazed how many people are not using this. Hope this brings it to the attention of a lot more peeps. Before watching I hope you used multi optimization target for yoimiya Edit after watching the vid: You didnt use the optimizer right. Not your fault cause its pretty difficult to put in the right information to get the best build for your yoimiya. There are some vids about how to put in the multi optimization target for yoimiya. What it boils down to is that yoimiya vaporizes with her 1 3 and 5 hit if I remember correctly. Because of this icd raw dmg instead of vaporize dmg gets a bit better so the balance between them is different for the optimal build
