In the Ace of Wands is Adam from Michelangelo's Creation of Adam, so the bone might be the rib that created Eve? It's a weird card for sure, I don't like it either 😅
as soon as I saw that the plant spirit oracle guidebook had a little something extra I suddenly needed it.....I feel like fancy guidebooks are my tarot Kryptonite.
Re: the Ace of Wands in the stretch tarot, the artwork in the background is michelangelo’s ‘creation of adam’ so my instinct is that the foreground it’s supposed to be the creation of eve (ie: from adam’s rib) - edit lol, I now see someone beat me to that assumption/guess.
I have "The Plant Spirit Oracle" and the guidebook. I´m just loving it. The cards are so beautiful and nuturing, and the guidebook is amazing. I also have The Tarot of Trees (with bigger cards and gilding) and the cardstock is wonderful.// Love and light from Sweden🙏✨💖
The Ace of Wands in the stretch tarot makes me think of creation from death - Frankenstein. It looks like patches of skin sewn together with a giant metal staple or stitch on top of it
I love Hay House’s new cardstock! But I agree with you that the Shaman’s Dream seems like a deck that was created in haste because the mortgage was due! The Stretch Tarot has been on my wishlist forever! I hope it will still be available for a bit until I can purchase it!

Thank you for the message about essential oils and pets. I have a cat at home, who is my absolute best friend. I am super, super careful with essential oils around my cat, before I purchase any essential oil I do my research on whether it is safe for cats and if it’s not I won’t buy it. I have a diffuser and I love diffusing essential oils, I don’t use the diffuser during the day while the cat is in my room with me, I only use the diffuser when he is in his cat house at night. I also don’t light candles in my personal practice, because for one I live with two asthmatics and two I don’t feel safe using them around the cat, just in case he knocks them over accidentally, and I also worry that the smoke may affect his lungs as well.
Shaman's Dream has offered me amazing readings! I love this deck and doesn't feel forced at all! The GB has quite deep messages of healing. I agree with the card stock that is why I use the app on my iphone.
I totally agree with the shamans dream oracle ... it's not a good deck. The card that put me off was the Caterpillar one ... its hideous! Plus alot of the cards seem quite dark and I was left squinting at them thinking what the heck was that! I love the star tarot I work with it at christmas time and through december...hey it works for me!
WHAT! I can't believe you would even EVER consider giving the Star Tarot away! It is my fav deck of all time- the GB is a spiritual text of awakening- I have the 2nd edition which has color images. The combination of Rider Waite, Thoth, Golden Dawn & Tree of life makes this deck & GB beyond comparison- just saying! Oh and it also has angel references & numerology as well! Whew- glad you are keeping it 💜.
Owning both the Plant Spirit Oracle and the Oracle of Essences, I love them both, while I tend to use the Oracle of Essence more often for daily pulls, pairing it with Tarot decks, the guidebooks has affirmations and is really well written. The Plant Spirit Oracle is so beautiful and pairs well with the Tarot of trees, I would have a hard time choosing between them.
I don't have the Plant Spirit Oracle, but I do have the new edition of Tarot of Trees, and the cardstock is mat and lush! The box is two part with a sleeve.

Hope you don't mind if I let you know, I think there might be an uncut edit at about 7 minutes with the Cosmic Slumber tarot, because it looks like you start over talking about it at 7:49? Also, like you, I rarely use essential oils. Cats have even less ability to handle them than dogs do; they lack the liver enzyme needed to break them down and pass through their system, so it's an aerosolized poison for them. If we can smell it, then there are essential oil molecules floating in the air which can get on their fur. Then they lick their fur and ingest it.. I had two cats when I went through my "essential oil phase", at first I thought they had hairballs because they kept hacking a lot but nothing came up. Found out that's respiratory difficulty. I still wonder to what extent their later issues and early deaths (one had blood clots, the other had kidney disease) were caused by my use of essential oil.
Thank you for that! ;) Fixed it now! -- YES I wish it were more common knowledge just how medicinal essential oils are as well as how toxic they can be for pets if used improperly or diffused in the air.
My feeling is that, unless you are deeply interested in studying and working with essential oils, that oracle deck isn't of great use. I do have a collection of oils and have studied them for a while, so I love doing a daily draw with the deck, however if I didn't, I'd pass the oracle on.
Am glad you kept the The Darkness of Light Deck, you just got it and haven't worked with it, I was a bit surprise when I saw it. The Shaman Dream is just a bit weird, it seemed a bit rushed, I like the back of the decks bit doesn't fit in with the art and doesn't seem ''Shaman like to me, just watching the walk through. Both the Plant Seed Oracle and the Oracle of Essence Oracle, that's a bit interesting choices between the two, but I would pick the Plant Seed Oracle due to the art and the key words works great with that Deck and liking how there are other unique plants like Yams, Mushrooms, Poison Ivy, Vervain. That has been in the back of my radar for a bit, but not strong. Am gonna have to watch a couple of walk through to see if I want it or not. Great episode of ''This or That''? 💜😀
Glad your pup made it through that essential oils incident. What's scary is far too many aromatherapists are trained that essential oils are just fine for pets. They are not, especially not for cats. I just stay away from essential oils completely, with having cats and dogs in my home. I also have issues with the environmental impact of producing oils and how much plant material is needed to produce them.
yeah... neither of those Collette decks were for me. I like some of her others, but you hit the nail on the head with the comment that the Shaman's Dream was 'forced'. I thought it felt uninspired and trying to hard. The only card I liked that you showed was the Overflow one. And one card will not make me buy a deck!!!
The Inspirational Tarot reminds me of the Morgan Greer + Aquarian Tarot with the zoomed-in perspective and simple graphics. Interesting to see a more feminine (color palette - wise) take.
In no way to be crude, but am I the only one who saw female genitalia in the ‘creation’ card for the Stretch Tarot? Makes sense to me! Women literally create new life with their bodies.
You’ve definitely sold me on the books for the Plant Spirit Oracle and the Inspirational Tarot. I’m intrigued by the Shaman’s Dream oracle. I love the backs and I think … I think I’m a deckaholic and need to take some deep breaths, that’s what I think. 😄
The good news is when you're trying to slow your roll... mass market decks are the absolute easiest to step back from - they'll be there later, it's all good! :D I often find that waiting to buy something almost always dampens the initial WHEEE feeling... and I don't end up wanting them after all - or if I still do, I know it's not just a knee jerk reaction :D

I’m hanging onto Cosmic Slumber purely for the majors and using it as a majors only deck. I couldn’t really bond with the minors (too abstract maybe?), but those majors man are uh-maz-ing.
That deck is so gorgeous! LOL it's too good for me. Recently got the coloring book though so I can still enjoy the art!!! :D Will put up a flipthrough of that soon!
I am still thinking I need a separate oracle deck for my beloved Elemental Power Tarot. But maybe it works for me by itself. I am watching this last comparison to gain insights.
First of all, I love your This or That videos (well, I actually love all of your videos). But I've got to rant a bit here. I've been a certified aromatherapist for close to 30 years now and a deck like Oracle of the Essences is nothing short of criminal! I've looked on-line and I cannot find where Ms. Finazzo is an aromatherapist so she should not under any circumstances be recommending uses for essential oils! As you've sadly found out, they are nothing to play with. Undiluted clove oil for instance is caustic as is lemon oil and others. If ingested, undiluted tea tree oil is very toxic to a young child! Oils should be diluted to a 2% to 4% solution and never used undiluted. Okay, I'll stop there but if you ever do decide to learn about essential oils do NOT for heaven's sake try to learn from a deck whose creator may or may not know anything about them. One of the best books I have found is Patricia Davis's Aromatherapy, an A to Z. Thank you again for the video and for pointing this out to others. Blessings. I was thinking of Emmy Stretch Tarot & how the one Creation card really keeps me from wanting to use it much...it pops up all the time. I was thinking of using one of the extra magician cards & using sharpie to go ahead & write the keyword & card title...just not sure which one to keep as the Magician. Either that or completely trying to Sharpie the image & change it somehow...really like gets under my skin. I like all the other cards...
The Ace of Wands in this deck from what I understand it is a phallic symbol of male virility. I think that is meant to be a penis. I love this deck. But I find I use more for mediumship readings than anything. Superb in that regards. One of my fave decks of this year. Also, would love to get that bag u got for it last tine I looked Peggy was out of em!
