I have been oil pulling for almost 2 years now! And I have seen significant difference too as I used to get plaque deposit pretty quickly (uneven teeth) and had to go for cleaning every 6 months (now I go once a year), but oil pulling, flossing, and a change in brushing technique has helped. Also, most people brush horizontally which doesn't do much to pull out the gunk as it only gets distributed. Vertical brushing on every section is what really helps with plaque build-up. And I used to buy the oil for pulling but I saw a video on glamrs once and made my own product with organic coconut oil and drops of peppermint and clove essential oil. So thanks for that!

Not oil pulling but all the other habits that you mention is my oral routine. One suggestion, not just turmeric but mix with an equal amount of alum mixture & then brush your teeth it will whiten them. Stay home, stay safe.

Oral hygiene 🤘 1. Oil pulling Oil can be used : Coconut oil or Sesame oil or Olive oil How to do : Swish for 10-15 minutes then spit it out When to do : Either in the morning before eating or before dinner Frequency : Once in a day Amount : 1 Tablespoon of oil is enough End activity : Warm salt water gargling to pull out remaining oil 2. Brushing & flossing 3. Tongue cleaning 4. Mouthwash 5. Whitening : Haldi 6. Avoid stains 7. Regular checkups

Hey! Oil pulling is completely safe and has no dangers as long as you have no allergies to these oils in which case we expect our audience members to be aware of their own allergies. We are not recommending it instead of standard hygiene routines but in addition to your normal routine. Oil pulling also has several studies in which following it reduces bacteria, plaque and helps strengthen your gums too and is even approved by dentists. We hold the information in our videos to a high standard and make sure to research our tips extensively before sharing them. These methods are DIY's after all and are considered home remedies. For people seeking medical advice we will always suggest that they visit a doctor instead. -Team Glamrs

Husna S no, it’s because oil can clog your sink pipes if put down there so it’s best to spit it out into a cup and then flush down toilet or spit into paper towel
