@@comixof2morrow Using a cable would be the sensible thing to do. Why make work for yourself no matter how cheap and easy fitting a replacement may appear to be? Also, opening the TV may void the warranty if it's a new set and I don't fancy your chances of convincing the manufacturer's service department that it's anything other than misuse so no warranty repair either.
Looks nice :) From the specs RAM: DDR3 128x16MB. This looks like a spec for a single IC and should read as 128bit wide x 16Mbit , translation RAM = 256Mbyte. The CPU should be a "Actions Semiconductor" ATM7039 1.6Ghz(max) and the GPU a PowerVR SGX544. By now this CPU has been out of production for years, any game you play on it would qualify as retro gaming ;-)

That thing looks like it's putting a lot of stress on your HDMI port when it's plugged in. I'd recommend getting a male-to-female extension cord so that you can let the console sit on your table or whatever.
I loved Twisted Metal 2, Thumper was my favorite. Trap an enemy against a wall and hit them with your special. Streets Of Rage was great too, that music was iconic.
Windows 98 bootup theme is definitely my top favorite Microsoft bootup theme out of all of them. XP comes in second. The windows 95 bootup theme used in this video is probably ranked 3rd. I stopped liking the bootup sounds after the XP days. o_0
I gave this thing a proper test today, results are you can’t play two player, you can add games but cannot map the controls, the save and load function works surprisingly. Bro you got lucky with the games you tested loads of them don’t work a lot of them reset a minute into gameplay. I would say avoid at all costs it really is trash
I have a similar device, you may have reviewed it the Game Stick lite. As far as the widescreen you can change your tv's display with your remote. So you should be able to get a 4:3 aspect ratio. Another thing to consider is a HDMI to AV adapter. They can be purchased for cheap and it will allow you to hook these devices up to a CRT tv if one wishes. The results are very good. Cheers.
@@WickedGamerCollector I do like the gamestick lite. I actually like it more than super console x. The super console x has better performance but every console type has to be configured properly and some games have to be configured individually. These sticks are good because they use usb power so easy to connect to my tv. I know there is a super console x stick but it is pretty expensive compared to these other hdmi sticks. I can tell the pap1 is good though based on your video.

You sure that ram isn't 128x16 MB? If it is then it would have exactly 2 GB's. ...It's really weird phrasing. But, the resolution is 1280*720 (or 1280x720). So, 128*16=2048mb 🤷♂️ 128mb's is crazy low even for a Chi-na knockoff. Heck, $30 burner phones usually have no less than 2gb's.
Can someone please tell me the file structure of this device? I just bought a PAP I on eBay and it didn't come with a microSD card so I'm trying to load my own roms, but don't know how to structure them. Thanks
looks a bit like it wanted to become a "Transformer"... cool design overall, yet even with the controller included, this could have easily been made with an AMlogic 905 & 2GB RAM...
After many hours of heat and sagging from the weight that HDMI port will need some soldering back into place. Other than that that is one impressive emulator card.
So wait, the buttons are incorrectly mapped, they can't be changed, and these are the only controllers you can use with it? And this is okay? How WOULD you go about playing Smash TV on the SNES with the button mapping jacked up? I got questions, yo? That is a complete deal-breaker for me. Just sayin'

It can... going for ~35€ (naked console), but you'll need to do some soldering and other "sophisticated" stuff in order to make full use of it... i flip those modified systems for ~60, if there's no other modification (and of course, games not included)
I dont get it... I see something like this being sold by Anbernic but the controllers are ps1 knockoffs... the hdmi part looks the same though. Also its only 28$ from them on Ebay.
I’ve seen it from most brands anbernic, powkiddy etc. Mine is anbernic but it is nothing like their other stuff, probably just a random Chinese factory
