Lots of interesting tidbits in there. I could care less about the shopping mall. But a high speed rail line from Pattaya / Jomtien into Bangkok would be a game changer. Thinking about moving to Thailand. Provisionally I'd live in the Pattaya area (Jomtien or Wongamat), but would want access to the medical facilities in Bangkok. This would facilitate that.

Good updates here thx & interesting to hear that they’ll build an Icon Siam SC in Jomtien??…as the condos keep being built & they’ve updated the beach etc…as long as they improve the roads… it I’ll,be a great addition to Jomtien with the expats not having to slog up the congested pattaya roads to Central or T21 which are always very busy.🧐😉😎

Cheers for that. Had Sunday roast in Robin Hood last Sunday and it is quality- best beef I have had in Thailand as sometimes it’s like chewing rubber and everything was bang on. You pay a bit extra but it’s worth it and the manager (Max I think) really knows the business and what punters want. Good service and spotlessly clean.
I went to the Saturday evening music festival. I got as far as the Jomtien night market on the baht bus and had to walk the rest of the way as the traffic was gridlocked. Worth going to, the music was good but the traffic was worse than the fireworks Festival in Pattaya
hello Nick, i'm due to arrive on 20/04. I planned to arrive the day after Songkran but they've extended it. Will they still be lashing water at people the last weekend of Songkran on 20th and 21st April?
“The Champ” breakfast looks and sounds surprisingly like the highly popular and successful “The Boss” breakfast for 300 odd baht at the Sunflour in Pratumnak. Obviously just a coincidence.
For once I have to disagree that ICONSIAM isn’t better than (and example) Dubai Mall, given the all round day and night destination that it is. Business Bay where it’s situated along with BurjK, water fountain shows and many, many outside rooftop terrace bars and restaurants make its one of the best in the UAE and certainly more customer centric than ICONSIAM. This doesn’t make it bad and it’s just an opinion of mine. Cracking video as usual. From David @ The Tin Shed! 555

I was there last week on Saturday afternoon and yes it was quiet apart from the children's playrooms on the top floor. I had a meeting there many business guys here take their kids there.

Sorry Nick, as delicious as that meal looks, (Not for me for breakfast in my opinion) I would wont to go back to my room to sleep it off ! Dan's choice of breakfast is why he looks so Healthy Wealthy & Wise!!! A fiber based breakfast in the morning is the best way to keep plumbing moving freely!!! Great Vlog!!!
