Hello, Hunter! It’s a beautiful day here in Virginia today it’s 76 degrees at 2:45 ..Over night low tonight is supposed to be 54. Warmer temperatures for the weekend but I see another strong cold front moving through Wisconsin to end the month of August and that should bring more delightful temperatures and lower humidity. I’ll keep you updated!

Good afternoon! I recently learned that my community is talking about discontinuing tornado sirens due to technological advancement’s. They say it costs $700,000 a year for them to run them. But I believe this shouldn’t be done due to the people in the community that don’t have access to technology. They are putting money before peoples lives. As a meteorologist, what’s your take on this?
It is not bringing nice fresh air, it’s bringing late falls frigid temps 😢 and the summer was going so well too. Now I feel like I need to bring my winter gear back out 😐
