I have come to the full realization that we actually misunderstand the good book. The Bible is more practical than we actually think. Pentecostal prosperity is actually a great enabler of failing societies. People think that sustainable development will come to you by spending most of the time in church; God wants us to create and apply solutions to the problems in our midst and from there we can reap rewards and if we fail, at least those that come after can learn a thing or 2. Thanks for pointing this out Old man from Nigeria. With love from Chicago.
I grew up in one of the earliest pentecostal churches in Nigeria. Pastors poorly paid, welfare zero. I knew even as a child that something was very very wrong. One of the divisional pastors in that church went into haulage business and made millions, but he attracted a lot of envy from his peers at that time. He was a very sound preacher, but he knew that to make wealth, he had to put in the work required.
Don't blame him,I think it has to do with Daminas personality, when we are passionate, over zealous , specially when you've a personal experience with this scammers, when talking one needs to be cautious to avoid overheating the matter
finally you are saying what we are all thinking, SO WHAT NEXT AFTER THIS YEAR? Rebrand the teachings? Call out all prosperity preachers as FAKE? Or we just close down Churches so that people will finally have sense
Well said Sir,but Pst adeyemi, kumuyi, Damina, rev father Moses, pastor Sarah, pastor Augustine, pst bakwa, bro gbille akani and a host of others are doing it,we need I intensify the awareness as fast as possible because many destinies have already been destroyed by this so called prosperity preachers turn to monster's
